I love fishing the surf and I am always looking for suggestions on fishing spots. Awards

I mean, what gives? Go to the store and buy some chicken and eat that. Have a nice, greasy burger and fatten up like the rest of America! Then take a nice midnight swim off the California coast, and I will introduce myself to you. P.S. Prior to your midnight swim, please do not eat Jalapenos on your burger, they upset my stomach. LA is south of Ft Bragg by about 600 miles. I've never surf fished down there but I've taken quite a few weekend excursions out of Long Beach marina scuba diving and fishing off of The Channel Islands and Mexico. Awards

In one episode the guy is in Florida, fishing a river where it meets the ocean and he hooks a monster 6 ft. grouper. It was impressive Awards

This is a barely legal Ling Cod. They have to be at least 21 inches to keep and get well over 40 pounds. The meat has a bluish color to it but cooks out white, and they have some big-assed teeth. It's a lot of fun spear fishing for them and getting dragged around. Awards

I used to go out on 1/2 day 3/4 day and all day boats out of Dana and did good. Sometimes I would fish the bays in my float tube and caught a bunch of spotted bay bass. If you can swing this you wont be disapointed Bay Bass fight hard and taste good just throw light jigs (chartruse plastic) around the expensive boats in the bays on an incoming tide and hold on! Be aware that you could hook a monster Halibut and get towed around . . . Har! Awards
