I can’t tell on my end but over the last two days I’ve had two separate friends de-friend me because they said that my profile did it so much that they had to de-friend me because it was so annoying. Happend a couple of months ago, so turned of the friend joining notifications on Origin. Almost did the job for me. Now and then some notifications slip trough though. I can try a different browser but, i can't even tell that it's happening other than the 2 friends dropping me and telling me it's happening. i don't know it's weird, and i bet annoying for whomever is on the other end. This will stop the on/offline notifications, and the "Friend has joined server" from Origin, not the one displayed by BF4. This stopped BF4 from Alt+Tabbing out on me mid game.
