Well I have to go to court in an hour and a half to see if the judge is gonna evict us or if he will just call my looney landlord crazy lol.   after reviewing even more letters for the crazy landlord this is what I found     see if you can spot the fault in this logic

 

 

"your expenses of living are outweighing what you are paying in rent  for the 5 months and 3 weeks you lived here totals are as follows

$520 for septic tank pumping

$974 for heating lp

$894 electricity

$1200 rental taxes and Ins. per year (not a renters responsibility) she didnt say whats in the brackets

$215 snow removal ( which we offered to do free of charge)

$3808 is that total

$2608 is the total that we have control over (even includes the snow removal)    (rental taxes and ins isnt a cost we cause, has to be paid regardless of tentancy)

we pay $750 a month

$3850 is what we paid for 5 months of rental and utilities.

 

We dont pay enough in rent to cover our expenses??????????????????????????????????????

 

 

Well hopefully the judge will take the time to look over the facts

Thank you so much Ricko, no matter what the judge says I have to remember that everything happens for a reason  so if the judge doesnt do his job correctly  I just have to remember this       there is a reason behind it that I might not understand right away

If you dont get a response in your favor you should appeal infront of another judge.  Landlords are a pain in the ass most of the time.  They always want more money but never want to do any upgrades that were needed years ago.  Landlords are suppose to paint fresh every i think every 5 yrs and are required to change carpet after x amount of time.  Do not quote me on those facts but I think it is in certain state laws that is required.

Tball I completely agree with you my dad has rental property and I use to work for a guy as the clean up/repair crew for his rentals and yes MOST renters are filthy pigs. well most is a little harsh  but a majority of them are pigs

 

 

 

Well the Judge heard about 30 seconds of my defense and decided it needed to go to trial.  Which means we will probally win. The court will mail us a trial date.  I think its funny because by the time we go to trial there will only be like 30 days or so left in the lease anyways   man is my landlord  stupid.  She just cost herself a bunch of money,  oh and since it is going to trial I am not to pay her any rent  until the courts can decide  she so screwed herself

well we went to court today.  The judge said we didnt prove that we didnt use excessive amounts, but they were no longer looking to raise our rent just evict us so we got evicted         exactly what we wanted    but  he only gave us 2 1/2 weeks not 30 days so that sucks but in the end they think they won but we got what we wanted no rent to be paid in april   so yay AND that sucks lol

Thank you caoer.   It is alittle sooner than we had planed but I have been going nuts just sitting around waiting and even if he gave us  a month I would have probally slacked off for 2 weeks of it anyways lol
