I looked it up and found it has to do with a certain Windows security update and so I uninstalled it! Yet the problem persist! Any ideas anyone? Awards

Make sure there is no other pop-up behind the install window that is waiting for a response from you. If that is OK, try running the install in compatability mode. I have 7 Pro and had no issues with the install. Awards

Click on it like you would with any folder and look for the setup.exe file on the right side panel. Right click to bring up the context menu and select properties. Go to the 'Compatibility' tab and check the box under 'compatibility mode' and use the drop down box to select the Windows 7 option then click Ok. Try that and see how that goes. From what I do recall, the component registration did take some time so be patient. Edited June 1, 2015 by Merlin007 Awards
