CAN I DELETE PREVIOUS VERSIONS OF OS?

Just figured out why i have 75 gigs free out of 275. I have 152 gig of previous versions. Can i delete these?just installed win 7 ultimate

Can you just save all the files you need and just format it....Thats the best way I think.

true even if you delete the previous versions there will still be a lot of used space that can be cleared up a save a and format is the best way to do it a fresh install of win 7 ultimate should only take about 12-13gb of space

I think it wont let you delete the previous versions folder

I had this as well at my first install LOL

 

might be the best way to format and install again...

the cleanup disc wizard poped up and that was one of the options,i dont think i have any to lose if i do.

You should be able to delete the previous version files.  However, it's best to do a format before installing a new OS.

did somebody say format? what the hell i didnt know u should format!!! haha i just put win7 pro on a hard drive that i "formatted" and its running sweet.... now just to decide if i can get rid of my DEAR XP.... 2 days in so far so good!! format... format... format.....

yep, deleted them.formated and it runs wonderful..now does anyone have a good way to organize my files on here?

this is driving me crazy!...had to download some funky updates . but making  and finding files on here is too weird..i need  a way to keep order
