From 1981 on, I've been working on computers. ModComp mini's (HVAC controls designed for nuclear industry) helpd me  cut my teeth and various TI series mini's helped me round out my skills. My firsrt Pc was an 8088 PC Clone. Let's talk DOS, CPM, Fortran, Basic, yea baby!

What about Sierra Games? Leisure Suit Larry? King's Quest? Space Quest? Wanna talk about where PC's came from - Talk IBM clone!

Regards,

Oh yes man!

I still have my old IBM 8088 and 8086 plus stacker(software) on it to make 20Mb (lol) instead of 10Mb. But I loved my MSX way much better. I was 10/11 when I had that one.

Actually.. I have still at home several x86'es laying below my appartment which I might just throw away one day.

Sorry to say that but I was addicted to the Leisure Suit Larry series!

Pong was one of the first video games I ever played on the 2600. I then got a Commodore 64 and was able to program a lillte bouncing ball around the screen and I did this with a cassete tape drive and my color print out was a Pen printer it held different color ink pens after that I was really pushing it out with a 5.25 floppy drive and a DOT Matrix printer. Ah those were the simple days of syntax errors all you had to do was reinsert the floppy ans you was up and runing again LOL. I remember owing a Matintosh Performer 8hz of CPU power and 4mb of ram and going to a Compter City store and paying $400 USD for another 4mb chip for a total of 8mb of ram now that was power LOL.
