Was quite informative so I thought I'd share! As you're all probably aware, kills don't count towards ticket bleed anymore. You get 0.0625 points per second per flag owned. Basically ( (0.0625 x flags held) x 60seconds) ) = points per minute. 1 flag = ((0.0625 x 1) x 60s)) = 3.75 per min (4) 2 flags = ((0.0625 x 2) x 60s)) = 7.5 per min ( 8 ) 3 flags = ((0.0625 x 3) x 60s)) = 11.25 per min (11) 4 flags = ((0.0625 x 4) x 60s)) = 15 per min 5 flags = ((0.0625 x 5) x 60s)) = 18.75 per min (19) 6 flags = ((0.0625 x 6) x 60s)) = 22.5 per min (23) 7 flags = ((0.0625 x 7) x 60s)) = 26.25 per min (26) Which means to win a 200 round game you need to hold the following amount of flags for x mins to win the game. 1 : 50 mins 2 : 25 mins 3 : 18.2 mins 4 : 13.3 mins 5 : 10.5 mins 6 : 8.9 mins 7 : 7.7 mins Might help you guys determine what to set the 'win score' to when BF1 comes around! In fact if you plan on defending you are better off letting the flag go to neutral and recapping it. Hopefully they fix this by launch, it rewards attacking more then defending. You mean it doesn't reward those who are simply looking for a K/D ratio.. You get additional points for killing someone within the cap zone so it does reward you. Most of the games I've seen result in a very close ticket count. This is a good thing. Close games mean they're doing something right.

Close games mean they're doing something right. The problem is it makes a lot of strategies pointless by only rewarding one game play type which is rushing flags to cap them. Staying alive has no benefit anymore, which basically means defensive strategies such as controlling a major choke point between flags, sniping at the edge of points, and air superiority are all pointless. It really does alienate several strategic game play types that could take place anywhere on the map and is what made battlefield great imo. Every kill and every death no matter where on the map it happens should contribute to the overall ticket count, otherwise there is no incentive to staying alive, defending, and playing tactically. If it stays like this I see mass suicides happening just to get to the action quicker.

If you want a good k/d go play TDM, if your playing objective kills outside the flag zone shoulnt matter much. I see why they did it, i hope it balances well.
