The twist lock bolt might be an ok desighn for the Weatherby but a desaster for a combat weapon like the M16 and all of its brothers. There were guys in the bush who refused to carry an M16 and used an M14 or AK47. Just as a side note I only fixed 1 M14 the whole time I was in nam and that was becouse someone droped it out of a chopper and needed a stock other than that it was fine. Just an opinion of a combat weapons specialist who had to fix the Fuckers I agree...I carried a M-14 the whole time I was in Nam and never had one problem with it and thats amazing considering what I carried it through...That can't be said of those that carried the M-16...
