At that time my Neighbor was one of the pilots of the B17 sentimental journey and he also owned at that time one of three flyable P38 lightnings. Watched the show sitting in the shade of Dan Nelson's hanger Saturday. Beautiful weather, and perfect for a show. Danny's dad, Vince Nelson, was the pilot of a B-24 Liberator What's Cookin' Doc. Took a jeep ride around the grounds, glad the guy had a 1919 browning mounted, something to hang onto. bds1961 1 Awards

His plane didn’t have a name but here is one of it in flight. His was set up as a night fighter, if it had all the parts installed it would have had a radar module mounted below the nose. From what I understood at the time is it looked kind of like a small torpedo on the front of it. TheLastColdBeer 1 Awards
