Heya guys, So two days ago I made a traditional Dutch side dish. We often eat it on the side with Christmas dinner for example, but i like it all year round. So it's made of a Dutch variety of pear that is made to stew. Those pears are a lot harder (kinda like they aren't ripe yet), so they don't fall into small bits when you stew them. So we had some of those pears left from the holidays, and I decided to make some stewed pears of my own based on how mom always made them.. aka with LOTS of red wine (NO water), cinnamon and sugar ^^ And then I just left it to simmer for four hours. Most people do that a lot less long, but from my experience this is the only way to let them really take up that wine, you can taste the difference. They taste great, even if I say so myself Oh and they can be a lot prettier when you just peel them, but leave the pears whole otherwise, but I always feel like the taste suffers from it with the wine not reaching the inside. Think something like this:

This week has wreaked havoc on the boats in our marina. Earlier this week the wind blew all the water out of the Potomac River. We normally have about 7 feet at Mean Low Tide under our boat. They were all sitting in the mud. And then this....mother nature can suck it! I am sure @MISERY can relate....

Mostly in the event/music industry, but winding down since COVID lock-downs left too uncertain a future. Now building a business distributing and manufacturing physical products. Early stages, but going fine so far. (Anyone got brewery connections, please reach out.) Other things I like: Scratching vinyl records. Big Band Swing (The music was one of the best things about World War II). Archery / Bow & Arrow (You eat the bugs, don't worry about why I keep gaining weight). You can also save that file and if it ever happens again just swap it out

to clear all the problems with your server window you have to delete your servercache.dat file located in user/appdata/activision/codwaw folder . Then you have to add all your Favorites again but the problem will be solved

Hello peeps, I thought I should introduce myself properly after all the endless hours playing and joking around on the FT server. So my gamename is Bamm, I’m 26 years old, I live in the Netherlands and when I used my mic for the first time, I suprised many because I’m a woman. I’m a regular player on the COD4 FT2 server since March of this year and ever since, I am wayy addicted. I did play on other COD4 servers before that on and off for years. My favorite thing ingame is trying to save my teams ass when I’m the last one and hopefully get us back on our feet. In regular life, I study Clinical Psychology and I’m in the final year of my master. Regarding hobbies, I love love love bouldering. I boulder in the gym, because the Netherlands is as flat as a pancake, as we like to say. I did climb outside in France in September for the first time (Fontaine Bleau of course for those who know), which was so f.ing amazing. I can talk about bouldering for hours if you let me. Other than that, I love hiking, reading, horse riding on occasion, and in the summer I love to try out different sports. So that’s something about me, I hope to get to know you all better as well For now, see you in game and keep up with the jokes!
