The error is giving you the path to the problem.Go to your CoD2 main folder and delete the xih.iwd file.

Cpt. Phantasm, the error your getting is actually leading you to the problem.Delete the xih.iwd file from your CoD2 main folder.

Any one using a usb headset is using the headsets built in sound card,bypassing the on board or dedicated card if installed. For me my onboard sound is Realtek ALC888 and a dedicated sound card is way better.If your mother board is fairly new then your on board sound is probably good enough,(ALC889 and above).

Creatives X-FI CMSS-3D feature will enable any good headset to have 3D surround sound and their top of the line card the HD will emulate 5.1.Although some on board sound may have this feature,there are way more settings and adjustments with a sound card that makes the sound way better. You will notice a big difference with a dedicated sound card vs. on board sound.You'll here things that you never heard before,like foot steps even from people with silent perk and your sound will be more directional enabling you to her from which direction people are coming.Once you get a good sound card you'll never go back to on board sound. Don't know about the Asus cards,I have a Creative X-FI Titanium and have had no problems with drivers,sound is exceptional.HT-Omega makes some good sound cards without the bloated drivers.

If your lawn is all flat you'll be ok.If you have any hills then stay away from the Husky's or Craftsman hydrostats,they are sealed units and are very cheap and will fail early on hills.I had one and like Venery said I too gave it away after an early failure of the hydrostat unit.($650 for a replacement). spent a little more and got a Wheel Horse and have never had a problem.

For Evga Precision go to;Start/All Programs/Evga Precision/On Screen Display Server and where it says "stealth mode" make sure it is turned on. Stealth Mode was added awhile back to stop the PunBuster kicks in game.Make sure your using a newer version.

Unreal Tournament 3 server seems to be stuck on DM-Elysium.

BCCode 117 is usually a video driver related error.Run memtest to rule out bad memory,make sure your power supply is 450watt or> and has at least 24amps on the 12volt rail and make sure ALL of the previous drivers are removed before installing the newer ones.

Always get more than you need when it comes to power supplies.A power supply will degrade over time and lose some of it's rated output. A border-line psu might be good in the beginning but may be a problem down the road.

If the hard drive is dead,try putting it in the freezer for 10 min.,might give you enough time to copy your profile off of it.
