I'm just shaking my head at this. The UC system in California receives most of it's funding from the state and feds. Many of the people who attend receive federal student loans. The resolution says "freedom of speech, in a space that aims to be as inclusive as possible, can be interpreted as hate speech." The American flag had hung on a wall in the student government suite. A few weeks ago, someone removed the flag and put it on the desk of Reza Zomorrodian, the Associated Students' president, with an anonymous note saying it shouldn't be in the lobby. The executive members decided to put up the flag again. Then the resolution was brought to the council. Zomorrodian, an opponent of the ban, said the American flag was "an iconic and symbolic representation of our values in the U.S." On Friday, state Sen. Janet Nguyen, R-Santa Ana, said she and other legislators may introduce a state constitutional amendment to prohibit "state-funded universities and college campuses from banning the United States flag."

I couldn't, and I wouldn't. When I was a freshman in high school my dad had a couple cases given to him of Chivas Regal and I "borrowed" one. Some friends and I were out and we dared one of them to down the bottle, and he did. We thought we killed him. Couldn't wake him up for a couple hours and ended up calling poison control. He ended up puking for a couple hours and gradually coming back to life.

The only time my wife insists that I stop gaming and listen to what she has to say is when there is 45 seconds left in a match that I'm winning. The rest of the time she could care less.

Growing up in the 60's my mom was one of those moms. Now she's 82 and the roles are kind of reversed. He does most of the cooking and shopping.

While the woman is a complete piece of white trash shit for continually parking in the handicap spot, people who feel the need to antagonize others by taking video piss me off equally as much. If he really wanted to notify the police of her illegal parking all he needed was a time-stamped picture every day it happened. Instead he confronted her and made the situation a lot worse than it had to be. I'm getting really fed up with all of the citizen journalists who piss people off just to see their reaction then upload the video to youtube. If somebody is threatening to attack you taking video is warranted, but starting an argument and taking video is completely different.
