  1. Lagunitas brewery is located 5 minutes from my house. We eat lunch there frequently and always have a few beers. Not one of my favorite beers but lunch guests always enjoy it. My son is trying to get a job there.
  2. I only take posts seriously when somebody feels the need to tell everybody else what they can and can't post. Otherwise, no I don't take things here very seriously.
  3. I wonder how Middle Eastern countries like Saudi Arabia have most popular beers when drinking alcohol is illegal? The thought of Bud Light being the most popular beer in the US makes me ill. There are really just a handful of states where it's the biggest seller, but those states put away a lot of beer. I was surprised to see that Blue Moon is the most popular in a lot of states.
  4. No offense kitty but we have no rules against hijacking threads on our forums, and my point is that if I decided to post a single picture for every piece of furniture in my house and change the discussion to American basketball it's not against the rules, regardless of how much you may be upset about it.
  5. I would suggest maybe just skipping over those that you aren't interested in seeing then. Not everybody is comfortable showing a picture of their face and we are all happy to see whatever they feel comfortable sharing. Mkay?
  6. I took a happy birthday dump for you this morning Loader. I hope it was as enjoyable for you as it was for me.
  7. This isn't possible, loader wasn't born he was hatched from an egg. Happy birthday you old fart. I hope you have a great one.
  8. Start it up in safe mode and uninstall the last update. if that fixes your problem, turn off automatic updates until they work the bugs out of the update and reinstall it.
  9. Have fun Markoff. Here is a little music to get you in the mood. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=hc-v8CFJzu4
  10. I just love it when I'm reeling in a nice big salmon and one of those suckers bites it in half. They're cute but a pain in the ass.
  11. Had exactly the same thing happen a couple years ago Lead. I was expecting a package delivery from FedEx and like an idiot clicked on the email link. Managed to reboot and run system restore which completely eliminated the threat. If this thread has taught us nothing else, it's that everybody has different ways of doing things and since we're all here talking about it they all must work. There will never be any shortage of scam artists out there trying to fuck up our PC's, so having a plan is always a good idea.
  12. Perhaps, but it sure can make you sad when you don't have enough of it.

  14. It's hard to beat the classics. MASH Taxi WKRP in Cincinnati Married With Children Cheers Frasier Seinfeld Carol Burnette Dean Martin Johnny Carson I watch any of them if I come across an episode or two. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=1HvmtbZzA40
  15. Happy birthday BB.
  16. Just trash the computer and get a new one.
  17. I've done it about a dozen times for friends and family members with complete success. Unless you have a virus or malware that disables or deletes the restore points, there isn't any reason it shouldn't work. I've even used it twice on PC's with ransomware by running sys restore from the utility screen on start-up and was able to completely eliminate the ransomware. I know that people say that viruses infect restore points while leaving them in tact, but I haven't seen it happen yet.
  18. The best way to be sure it's gone is to do a system restore. Just go to the utility and choose a backup date that is prior to when you downloaded the drivers. You'll lose anything else that you downloaded since that point but if there is a virus that should get it.
  19. HLSW has been kind of quirky lately. Most of the time you need to log in offline, and the new TDM server in particular is showing offline on HLSW frequently but you can still connect to it. I have the rcon password saved and tested, but it's still showing that it's in a time out.
  20. The sad thing is that if it was real there would be women (and men) lining up to buy them.
  21. DW, go eat a spotted dick.
  22. My guess is that he was abandoned in the wild at a very young age and was a feral child. That would explain the instinct he has to flee when there is danger, or rage quitting when he's losing.
  23. I did exactly the same thing Bart. I had a 1974 Honda CB 750 when I was 20 years old (1980). A friend and I were going across the Richmond San Rafael bridge on the north end of San Francisco bay at 2 in the morning and decided to race. The bridge is 5.5 miles of straight and flat highway and it was completely empty. I bottomed the spedo out at just over 120 and it started to wobble. I backed off and pulled over. I sold the bike a couple weeks later and haven't owned a bike since.
  24. Looks cool.
  25. Nice try but you can't fool us. Those are British soldiers.
