    A good example of the way prices inflate as goods cross the Atlantic with this model... $464 in the UK! Checking the inventory of my usual suppliers, I have seen a distinct lack of middle range UPS devices. They go from fairly gutless 320W models up to those designed to protect businesses and networks with little in between. APC is an established brand but they are very expensive in this country. I shall be paying $61 for a pair of replacement batteries, including delivery.

    It is a Belkin F6C120ukUNV 1200VA - 670 watts, I believe. Belkin has discontinued this model and no longer seems to make/market them. I have looked into replacement batteries as you suggest and this may be the better option. There seem to be few reviews on UPS other than those on Amazon. (Thanks for the response @@Damage_inc- but I am looking for an external uninterruptible power supply rather than an internal power supply - UPS not PSU )

    A power cut here, yesterday afternoon, revealed that my UPS is kaput. I need to replace it with something reliable yet inexpensive and wonder what others may use. My needs are to protect use of a gaming PC and monitor only so the load is not going to exceed around 700-750 watts. Also required is surge protection and USB connection to enable an automatic shutdown when the mains goes off. Any suggestions of makes and models would be appreciated. My optimum price would be £100 or less.

    It was first encountered 47 years ago and is likely to be older. It hasn't gone airborne in that time. It has been in the territory of the USA before (1989) and Hxtr is still with us. If he stays away from fruit bats and monkeys, he should be safe.

    Your problem is that you have no context into which to place that photo. There's no date, time, location or other information about it. One cannot even be sure that it actually comes from New York! I have seen so many manipulated photos that I don't trust them as factual any more. Face up to the fact that there is not a shred of evidence that supports the nonsensical fantasies. We all know who murdered those poor people and how it was done.

    National Geographic Channel screened an informative documentary over here recently explaining the physics of the collapse. Jet fuel doesn't burn steel but the extreme heat does weaken it to the point that it is no longer able to support the weight of the floors above it. As they fell, there was a piledriver effect. The complete absence of any residual demolition materials from the scene is also highly compelling in itself. That everything took place on live TV also provides indisputable evidence of what occurred. Why do they call people who cling to fantasies "truthers" anyway??

    It shows you in game when the map hasn't even finished loading then you get disconnected...(sigh). It is still very much "Brokenfield 4"! Hate to say it but it is pissing me off as much as Black Ops did. At least the latter only crashed every third game.
