  2. Mrs Keg is knitting and crocheting furiously with her balls of baby wool. My son arrived home with a Moses basket and stand, last night, and several spare mattresses for it. We're buying a cot. You should have seen Mrs Keg's face when I suggested buying some Liverpool FC baby-grows... Oops!
  3. ...Great Britain and France declared war on Nazi Germany. We remember the sacrifice of our two nations' armed forces. Vive la liberté! Vive la Royaume Uni! Vive la France! http://news.bbc.co.uk/onthisday/hi/dates/stories/september/3/newsid_3493000/3493279.stm
  4. Yes, I have a large number to cover the next 40+ hours of play, for the same reason, from 25% to 200%! I still have about 34 unopened battlepacks so there could be even more waiting...
  5. Having just bought the third modem-router inside twelve months, I can say avoid Belkin and ZyXel brands...
  6. Things may be absolute sh*t over here, mate, but at least we are not stuck with a choice between two rich kids backed by big business... The USA is just a single step away from totalitarianism, never mind democracy.
  7. Thank you. As an enthusiastic party member, I salute you!
  8. Congratulations to the new H-ADMs. May I add my thanks to the outgoing pair with whom I look forward to continued games elsewhere on the clan's servers. Does this mean new signage on the maps' opening screens? "Bienvenu au club de petit-déjeuner de Labob"?
  9. In my thoughts and prayers during this difficult time, Fire.
  10. Despite the authorities' success against one ransomware threat, others remain including Cryptowall - said to have infected 625,000 computers worldwide. This article describes the threat, how machines typically become infected and the precautions one can take to minimise risk of infection. http://www.tomshardware.com/news/cryptolocker-cryptowall-ransomware-malware-viruses,27576.html#xtor=RSS-998
  11. The unique Danish comedian, Victor Borge, performs (in English). There's nothing like his clever wit on the stage, these days.
  12. Could this be why the redirection from DM when it is full never works?
  13. Having an actual server at the end of the unwanted redirection would be preferable to sitting in front of a black screen for ten seconds before being told the connection has timed out. It would also provide an alternative for non-members kicked by admins to make space for clan members.
  14. I don't see PC as a problem connected to the European debate in general. Some observations made about recent member countries haven't gone down well though. How dare one mention the nationality of thieves despite the numbers of thieves who just happen to have been born in a certain country! Example: http://www.express.co.uk/news/uk/380512/How-Romanian-criminals-terrorise-our-streets The huge scandal within the UK is potentially connected to the PC mindset as it has been established that 1400 children have been abused in a single northern town by men and there seems to be an ethnic connection. http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/uk-28942986
  15. Dear Colonial Septics or, more specifically, Hxtr, (Note the use of the brotherly tongue known as Cockney Rhyming Slang - "septic tank" = yank.) The behaviour of the circus of clowns whom we also know as politicians renders the term "political correctness" an oxymoron as we have yet to witness any politican being correct in any way, shape or form. Sovereignty is an issue you correctly identify as being a hot potato for the morons who hold power. The majority of our laws are no longer instituted by our sovereign parliament but by an unelected quorum of foreign bureaucrats in Brussels known as the European Commission. Amongst the recent pressing matters they have considered are a limit on the power of our vacuum cleaners and the maximum wattage of hairdryers. They clearly recognise that if Europe sucks too much it will fail! Unimpressed by the UK's implementation of a directive about diesel fuel for boats, they are now taking the UK to court. If they're successful, I shall have to pay full duty on diesel I use to generate electricity rather than to propel the boat. Many of us want to withdraw from the EU. I became so angry about this undemocratic foreign interference in our affairs that I joined the UK Independence Party and I urge all adult Britons to do the same before our country is swallowed up into a United States of Europe in which our voice will count for little. We are a country of 62m people. Last year, an extra 250,000 migrants entered and, as an EU member state, the UK is powerless to control immigration from any other EU state. We cannot house our own people so why should we house foreigners?! The establishment elite running this country have failed - their time is over. We have the opportunity to mend what is broken coming next year and we must seize this chance. Vote UKIP! (Goodbye to this thread as it disappears to the unseen recess...)
  16. Good luck in your desires to serve your country. I am guessing that, unlike our pitiful excuse for a government, yours isn't discharging full-time service personnel in the hope that the butcher, baker and candlestick-maker in uniform part-time can do an equivalent job. Mind you, I'd pay good money to see an ISIS ar**hole despatched with a candelabrum!
  17. Very clever (sorry to Facebook friends for repetition but this is worth it).
  18. This guy has been taking lessons from @@Unchileno !
