ph4nt0m Just imagine dedicated servers and MOD TOOLS so we could give the game the XI touch, still won't buy it either, I stood firm in my decision to never buy it until there are dedicated servers available for it (unlike lots of others) Me TOO!! Still holding out for Dedi's, or I'm not supporting them.

Do you ever get the message, in the big white box when you open ventrilo, that says "MSG: Server is available, press connect" ? If not, please verify all your settings. HOST: 8.9.3.119 , Port: 4345 , The password is 'crappy'. You have probably done this, but verify that it is all correct... no extra spaces or such. If this doesn't help you, the Ventrilo website has a pretty good FAQ on the software.

Either use the 'direct link' on photobucket, or click the box to the side of the field for 'Img url' and browse to the file on your computer and upload it to the site. Shoot me an xfire if you need more help. ...there ya go.. good job! Nice sig.

On the front page of this forum, you will see a graphic in the middle of the page that lists all our servers. Choose the cod4 server that you want to play, and write down the IP for it (example: COD4 Ace Mod is 69.9.170.52:28960). Then in game, select 'join game', then you can click on 'source' until 'favorites' shows up next to it. Then click 'new favorite'. Use that IP you wrote down and join the game. but D3333nutz is right.. some hotels limit P2P for bandwidth purposes, but the front desk should be able to tell you that. Good Luck

Bolo Hey guys. I'm not sure what happened but let's be adults about this. You are right, people should not be recruiting in your server and I totaly agree. That's a no no in the gaming communities. I know I enjoy playing on your servers and especially enjoy your company. I've had a good time and it's got me interested in gaming again. I think we can work this out not because of the servers but as friends. I've seen this too often where guilty by association can make everyone look bad especially in this case. If someone is breaking rules they need to be spoken too on our side. We were just getting ready to start scrimming with you guys to see if we can get back into competition on TWL. Let's try not to look at this as a blow up dispute. There is no need for that if all possible. Hope we can work this out. Bolo Bolo, The effected individuals need to post in the appeals section about the bans, that is the only way it can be sorted out. Thanks.. Bama

Not sure this will help you.. but I had problems with that in the past, and I always had to reload my video drivers. It may be a different problem that you are having, but this worked for me. BUT.. it would happen periodically and I'd have to reload vid drivers again..UNTIL, I did a complete reload of COD4. Since the reload I no longer have the issues. (I also upgraded my vid cards around the same time as the reload.. so that may have made it more stable) So, you could try reloading your vid drivers, and possibly that will buy you some time. Try that first. If you continue to experience it, a COD4 reload could solve the issue. Anyone else have advice???
