i usually go this time of year..but we've been having some mild weather..i'm like you Storm...don't like the thoughts of plunging through the ice and freezing my skinny little ass off..my buds have been down though and caught some nice walleye's...hoping to get out with the nephew,,he's got his own ice hut with heat and six holes ..along with a table a old fashioned refrigerator[hole cut in wall with slatted box on the outside and trap door inside],,,it gets pretty hot in that little shack especially with a few people drinking profusely...he he..then we put the old cast iron frying pan on the little wood stove and have a shore lunch inside..love it..a ton of fun..last year he had a dvd player and portable t.v with a cott as well in case he got too under the weather..but yeah love ice fishing on my home town lake..[Moira]..good times

dropped my iphone the other day and the ice smashed the screen all to hell...had to go buy a new one...got the 5c,,,so my old 4s has a shattered screen but still works...make sure you get a protector for you phones if you live in Canada...the ice is really tough on them..i hate winter
