The "researchers" first concluded that Fox News viewers are misinformed by sampling some number of New Jersey residents. Have you been to Jersey? Those people don't live in the same world.
And so, now they have expanded their study "nationwide" by asking some number of people "coast-to-coast" nine questions, of which on average, Fox views correctly answered 2. So here are the questions. How many can you answer?
1, Have the opposition groups protesting in Egypt been successful in removing Hosni Mubarak?
2. Have the opposition groups in Syria been successful in removing Bashar al-Assad?
3. Some countries in Europe are deeply in debt, and have had to be bailed out by other countries. Which country has had to spend the most money to bail out European countries?
4. What are economic sanctions against Iran supposed to do?
5. Which party has the most seats in the U.S. House right now?
6. In December, House Republicans agreed to a short-term extension of a payroll tax cut, but only if President Obama agreed to do what?
7. Who won the Iowa caucuses for Republican candidates?
8. Who won the New Hampshire Republican Primary?
9. About what percentage of Americans are currently unemployed?
Fox responsed to this nonsense as follows: "Considering FDU’s undergraduate school is ranked as one of the worst in the country, we suggest the school invest in improving its weak academic program instead of spending money on frivolous polling – their student body does not deserve to be so ill-informed."
