Looks great icey.  I'm just a noob mapper still working on my first map (lack of time to dedicate) so not sure what if anything special needs to be done.  @@Labob may know if there is something specific needed for it to work.  Once the beta is ready, I can always plug it into a rotation for FT and try it.

after a break for a while due to rl work etc i picked up mapping again.
This map has a reference to the ww2 movie  " The Dambusters" (1955) and was part of " Operation  Chastise ".
 
Game: Call of Duty World at War
Mapsize: medium.
Will most likely support all gametypes incl King of the Hill.

All United States packages are in the mail. Its tax day here and the lines were crazy long so I didn't want to hold up people any longer. The custom forms for shipping out of the US take forever to enter, so I will get these done tomorrow and Wednesday 

Everything is packaged up and ready to go. They will be in the mail tomorrow or Tuesday depending how long I wanna stand at the post office while they process all these packages

Moved into our retirement home last year. Lots to do before I could start renovations, including replacing the deck. But finally started on the kitchen last December and after a few months of weekends, got it done. Some before and after. Had to take the right wall 19 inches into the living room to recess the fridge.

@@White_Dragon , as this is a new server, there will be tweaks that can be done to improve the play-ability and the fun factor so I do appreciate your feedback however please don't come in raging with frustration.  We'll get things worked out.
 
@@_-Draco-_ , suggestions noted.  I have reduced dom round time to 10min.  Lets try that.  If after we want to look at point based rounds, we can.
 
Friendly fire has been disabled.
Dogs have been disabled.  (Dog kills were not supposed to add to a players kill streak however this was my oversight in which they were.)
 
I'll need time to look into the issue with weapon accuracy and damage so some patience here would be much appreciated.  With this, if there is a specific weapon that seems off to you, let me know which weapon and what characteristic seems off.  There is a number of weapon variables so I can look at each one individually.
 
Glad everyone enjoying so far overall and together we'll make this even better.

 Hey Damage.  It uses the openware mod but is modded with modern weapons.

I am a crew trainer at McDonalds.....say what ya will its a job lol.

I'm a full time unemployed person currently. Take kids to school, do some housework, pick them up, play games in the mean time.

I like!! Had some good games last night.
A few observations....
Pros:
Perks are back on!!! manually returning the friendly flag Longer radar time Cons:
20 minute rounds for domination are a little long. Maybe just a points based win, say, 300-500? or 2/10 minute rounds? the gun accuracy is a little strange...I noticed that when I was 10-20 feet from a player aiming center mass (never moving the sights), the first two shots did absolutely nothing but the third was the kill shot. Also using an MP5 running 3 feet from the enemy, shooting from the hip, it took almost the entire mag to kill the guy. But I found a fix to this...use the SAW Mixed thoughts:
Friendly fire. Since you don't get penalized its good, but (maybe it was just my eyesight) I noticed twice i didn't see tags on players and ended up killing them. Oops.  
All in all I like it! It's a great change of scenery. Well done!

As a trial to see how it goes, we now have a mixed game mode sever up and running.  The following are some details of what is currently running:
 
> Will run stock maps but will add in custom maps once confirmed they'll work.
> Game mod uses modern weapons.
> Friendly fire is on and will cause damage but no penalty will be given.  Just be careful.
> Spawn protection for 5 sec.
> Health will regenerate but also have a bandage option.
> Radar when activated will be up for 20 secs and will not notify enemy team.
 
Game Modes Running
--> CTF, DOM, HQ.  I can change or add other modes if you like but will start with these as I think these are the most popular.
 
CTF
> Flag will not auto return.  When a flag is taken, players must re-take flag and return.
> 5 sec delay in respawn but will have unlimited lives.
> 2 rounds at 12min/round.  Can be changed if necessary.
 
Dom
>5 sec delay in respawn but will have unlimited lives.
> 2 rounds at 20min/round.  Can be changed if necessary.
 
HQ
> Mode set: Once the objective is captured, it will remain in location for the other team to re-take but for only 60 sec before auto-destruct and objective re-locates.
 
 
Feel free to comment here with any problems or suggestions to improve game play.

Thanks for the imput I'm sure Merlin will work it out. Please remember it's a new server so it will take time to get everyting worked out, your imput is important.

Thanks for the info Deejay.  Will have to check see if it's on any of our PCs here at home.

insurance pffft the can cover the whole thing if they want its the resale value of the car that is now zero because you have to tell the buyer its been in an accident and that is not covered by squat. Pip off glad you ok Merlin
