It works for us. I have 4-5 walk-in clinics near my office where I can go if needs be and have a minimal wait. My aged dad has been in the hospital for 8 weeks now, and was in for that amount of time last Fall. Dialysis 3 times a week, many tests, physio therapy etc. If we did not have our health care system, all that he's worked his life for would be gone, the home that's been in the family for 110 years would have to be sold to cover costs.

I may have to put EA/Origin on my "Do Not Buy" list after BF3, which I see has also had a 'pay to rank-up' controversy last year. "Develop reports on comments from Blake Jorgensen, Electronic Arts' Chief Financial Officer, speaking at the Morgan Stanley Technology, Media, and Telecom Conference. As you may have guessed from the name of the conference, the business aspect of EA was the topic. Jorgensen said, 'The next and much bigger piece [of the business] is microtransactions within games. ... We're building into all of our games the ability to pay for things along the way, either to get to a higher level to buy a new character, to buy a truck, a gun, whatever it might be, and consumers are enjoying and embracing that way of the business.' This is particularly distressing given EA's recent implementation of microtransations in Dead Space 3, where you can spend money to improve your weaponry."

We all got kicked because the server crashed, and it had to be rebooted. You couldn't join because the server was down for a several minutes until it could be restarted. I'm in the IT industry and I manage several servers. Sometimes the beasties just collapse under the weight of their own existence. My long-term relationship with technology is love/hate.

Thanks for sharing! If you zoom in the picture stays incredible=y sharp. When my wife and I visited a few years ago, we stayed at a small hotel not too far from the wheel and the Parliament. The next hotel was very close to the Tower Bridge, and I forget where the 3rd was. I can't wait to get back there someday. I spent almost a full day in the Natural History Museum. I could have spent a month, but my wife had other ideas...

FYI: Corsair Vengeance K90 keyboards will NOT survive a full tall glass of Kahlua and milk over ice being spilled on them. Cleaning with distilled water and 99% pure rubbing alcohol will not help. (Typed from my new K90 with no liquids anywhere near it). Is there a medal for accidentally destroying gaming gear? This has got to be at least the 3rd or 4th Kb that I've ruined like this over the past dozen years. Anyone else got similar horror stories?

Corruption within the LAPD is one thing and needs to be thoroughly investigated. Going on a vendetta and murdering innocent bystanders (or anyone, for that matter) and police officers is another. There is no justification for the actions he took, period. If he wanted to get the word out on what he believed was going on within the LAPD, there are more sane ways of going about it. Clearly, he was deranged, his sense of right and wrong and what is moral deeply warped.
