if your MB has optical out?you can use http://www.turtlebeach.com/product-detail/headsets-legacy/ear-force-px5/51 and once you figure them out they work great! -
I am not sure about that one but it may have to do with how many maps are in your map folder(old and new versions)I would get rid of the maps and re-download them?

yup ben a beta tester for years.that only thing I have found not to run on 10 is hardware monitor,but open hardware monitor works fine!
