  1. If you can stretch it another $50 I HIGHLY reccomened the AMD FX-8320 Vishera 3.5ghz 8 core cpu. 4 more cores and 8mb L3 cache is a very very noticable vs a 4 core with no L3 cache.I was running a AMD Phenom II X4 980 stock clock 3.7ghz and upgraded when the 8 core 8320 went on sale. Performance increase was night and day. I currently have my 8320 OCed to 4.7ghz and a 1st gen Corsiar H50 closed loop liquid cooler, temps are 29c idle 43c at full load running 10 instances of prime 95+.I've had it OCed up to 5.24ghz but it would randomly crash so I backed it down a bit just to be on the safe side. I also have a PC with the FX-8350 in it but it will not overclock as good as the 8320.But it is a bit faster at stock clock speed.
  2. I prefer Intel but can't afford a good chip at upwards of $1000 for a decent one.So I bought the best AMD chip that was available at the time.$189.99 for an 8 core cpu that overclocks like a beast. Currently running at 4.7ghz it will go alot higher but I like them to run cool, they last longer. 32c idle 48c at 100% load running 10 instances of prime95+.Not to shabby in my book.
  3. Water cooled CPU rest is Air cooled. I'm using a Corsiar H80i water cooler. It's a sealed loop so no chance of leakage if installed correctly.
  4. Meow Meow Welcome Kittenn. http://youtu.be/kGdvdyajwNE
  5. Just put a Rad in my 98 accord LX a couple weeks ago.I got a cheap one off of ebay $47 free shipping. Seems to be working ok so far.Of coarse I installed it myself and reused the coolant and hoses But I did have to buy another coolant temp sensor.Another $20.The old one refused to come out.I also have an aftermarket External transmission cooler on my car so I didn't have to worry about the Tranny fluid and lines. I'de say that's a good price as long as the person doing it Knows what he's doing.
  6. That's cool lol. Going to try to convert it into a screensaver. Hahahaha I Did it.I made an installer for it to.Here it is if you want it. http://www73.zippyshare.com/v/56146646/file.html

superantispyware was a Fake A-V program that was infected with TDL3 rootkit virus/malware about 1 1/2 years ago. They have since went legit BUT I DO NOT trust them to handle my PC security. Here's the short version of the Definition of a RootKit if you were wondering. It's NASTY. Rootkit installation can be automated, or an attacker can install it once they've obtained root or Administrator access. Obtaining this access is a result of direct attack on a system (i.e. exploiting a known vulnerability, password (either by cracking, privilege escalation, or social engineering). Once installed, it becomes possible to hide the intrusion as well as to maintain privileged access. The key is the root/Administrator access. Full control over a system means that existing software can be modified, including software that might otherwise be used to detect or circumvent it. Rootkit detection is difficult because a rootkit may be able to subvert the software that is intended to find it. Detection methods include using an alternative and trusted operating system, behavioral-based methods, signature scanning, difference scanning, and memory dump analysis. Removal can be complicated or practically impossible, especially in cases where the rootkit resides in the kernel; reinstallation of the operating system may be the only available solution to the problem. When dealing with firmware rootkits, removal may require hardware replacement, or specialized equipment.
  14. I had problems with Waterfox conflicting with my Realtek sound and lan drivers and Flashplayer.I uninstalled it and switched back to Firefox.I still get a hang up or 2 every once and a while because of Flashplayer when watching YouTube videos.
  15. When you can afford it.I HIGHLY recomend getting atleast a 128gb Sata 3 SSD drive. They are SOOOOOOOO friggin FAST.Seriously they fully load Win 7 64 Pro with a bunch of other crap installed,in 4-7 seconds. And game maps load SUPER SUPER quick,I'm talking 2-3 seconds tops for a big 8o+mb COD4 map.
  16. CPU 8 Core AMD 3.5ghz $159.99 http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16819113285 Motherboard Asus Sabertooth $152,99 http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16813131877R Memory 8 gig G Skill Ripjaws X series DDR3 1600 $76.99 http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16820231428 Video Card $169.99 after $30 mail in card XFX Double D 7850 2gb http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16814150609 Total after rebate $559.96 That's 1 hell of a system for the money. You may need a new power supply to just depends on what you have now. This one is perfect but it's an extra $129.99 http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16817139010 You won't be able to afford an Intel i5 or i7 based machine that will match the performance for under $700.

  21. The Battlefield 4 system requirements will be similar to those of BF3, since the game is built on a similar game engine. While the Frostbite 3 engine features numerous visual improvements, it also sports performance enhancements. This means that gamers with a wide range of PC hardware will be able to run the game.
