Is there any way we could trial just stock cod4 weapons on gun game with normal hardcore settings? I would still like to play it but the hit registration with the current settings makes it irksome at times. I discussed this with a few people in teamspeak tonight and there was some interest in the idea. -

This is my current computer haha. Been holding out for the ryzen release but am thinking an i5 is the way to go now. I think stability looks like the biggest concern with ryzen at the moment and can't really wait much longer.

Alccccceee I think I remember you saying you play on a Mac? Franky had to download an older version of teamspeak to get it to work, I'll try and find out which version he is using. You can find the old versions here : http://ftp.4players.de/pub/hosted/ts3/releases/ Once its up and running its as simple as assigning a key for talking, just like in game.

You can preorder for delivery on March 2nd/3rd. Only the 8 core models though. I saw some articles last night that some retailers had started slashing prices on intel chips yesteday...although none of the UK vendors had yet...I will check again tonight.

I've been waiting for months and had decided to get one of the six cores, only for them to turn around and say they are only releasing the 8 cores at first!!! Wonder how many people are in a similar position? Might have to go with intel now, as I can't wait any longer.

I hope this means gun game is staying put? It may not be getting a lot of traffic but some of us are playing it a few times a week and having a blast, we have had 10-15 players a number of times now. I'd play it more if people would join more frequently. Realistically, with the game being as old as it is is it will be extremely challenging to get a new server well populated regularly.

Mine is nearly 9 years old, hoping it lasts another two weeks as that is when I'm planning on getting my new one! Not sure if you know but AMD are releasing completely new cpus in just under two weeks (this is what I've been holding out for). All signs are pointing to them finally getting on par with intel, and the prices are going to be quite a bit cheaper for similar performance. More should be known in a week or two, but so far its looking good. At the very least it might make intel drop their prices.
