Did someone say mountains? This picture was taken June 2015 when my wife and I explored the beautiful state of Alaska. We shot our wad and took a flightseeing tour of Mt. McKinley (since named Denali) with a landing on Ruth Glacier at 6,500 feet. The summit of Mt. McKinley is still another 14,000 feet above us. Alaska is the most beautiful place I have ever been. Truly a postcard everywhere you go. If I could stand the bitter cold I would move there in a heartbeat. Absolutely stunning....

I carry my Colt Defender .45 ACP regularly in the winter and my SIG SAUER P238 .380 ACP I prefer all metal guns And I especially like the safety features of the traditional 1911 frame

My little Jack Russell Terrorist...er I mean Terrier Maisy about 13 years ago. I found her snuggled up with my son's stuffed animals and couldn't resist snapping a photo. She's slowing down now and will probably cross that Rainbow Bridge in a year or so.

Nice! There is a photography forum under "General Discussion" > "General Discussion". Might be easier to put "photography" in the search box in the upper right hand corner of the web page. It's been a little stale since December please get us going

Yes @@AyaqGuyaq that is Ruth Glacier, 6,500 feet up on Denali (Mt. McKinley). Wife and I took a plane from Talkeetna and landed on the Glacier. One of the most incredible things I have ever done!! Miss you bud, get back in here!!

So a buddy of mine and I made the two hour drive to Conowingo Dam on Sunday morning. For those of you not familiar with Conowingo, its on the Susquehanna that borders northern MD and PA. It has one of the largest concentrations of Bald Eagles on the east coast. It's a great place to view our magnificent national bird. I have been there when there was more than 100 Bald Eagles in the air at a time. It's spectacular and worth the trip. Anyway a few shots from our trip on Sunday. Enjoy!
