  1. First of all, about the other study you are linking. It seems like a well designed study (although I didn't check how independent the study is moneywise), but this is trial registration report. So here they are saying what they are GOING to study rather than what the results are. And of course this is a study for another disease instead of covid or instead of general health. So if they would want to study what you are saying you are interested in, they should take people of the general population, give half of them the pills, the other half placebo and check what their general health will do in the upcoming months/years. What's good for someone who is sick, isn't always good for someone who is healthy. For example, many medicine have side effects, so if you don't have that specific illness and would still take them, your health would actually decline of course. Then regarding the rest of your story. First of all, I'm sorry to hear about all of the losses and diseases in your family. I don't wish that on anyone and it is hard to go through. I can also understand how that leads you to searching for all kinds of ways in order to try to prevent any other illnesses. I guess that's a form of trying to gain back control and we all do that in different manners. It's very frightening to feel powerless in the face of illness anyway.
  2. I checked the article for a minute, but it's not a very sound study. It lacks a control group which means you have no clue if the improvements of the patients was due to the hydrogen peroxide or just due to normal recovery. That's why an article should always compare a group with the treatment to without the treatment. They also say so themselves in the discussion: 'The age of the patients at a mean of 39 was relatively young compared to those who experience severe COVID-19, and without a control, it cannot be concluded that the treatment contributed to reducing the duration or severity, considering the natural history of disease.' So this article basically only says that patients don't get worse if you give them hydrogen peroxide. Another study which does use a randomized controlled trial (patients are randomly assigned to either the treatment or control group with a placebo), might say it works or not, but you cannot make any kind of conclusions based on this one.
  3. Yeah I think he means that someone is taking advantage of saying he cheats while he speaks french and can't really defend himself? Not entirely sure, a native translator might be quite helpful in the whole issue
  4. Happy birthday all! Have a good one
  5. I didn't expect anything else from you! You rather risk dying than just shooting someone the normal way and miss a grenade kill Nice one though!
  6. You're gonna keep that leaf in your mouth the whole ride as well?

  14. Hahaha I don't have a clue either and do not plan to find out

  18. Ah I really appreciate that, especially from a fellow pain in the butt I indeed feel like I have been improving a lot over the months, which is really motivating ^^ There has been a time where basil had to tell my teammates to keep defrosting me, because I just died so much that it became annoying.
  19. Thank you everyone! I really appreciate the warm welcome
  20. Hello peeps, I thought I should introduce myself properly after all the endless hours playing and joking around on the FT server. So my gamename is Bamm, I’m 26 years old, I live in the Netherlands and when I used my mic for the first time, I suprised many because I’m a woman. I’m a regular player on the COD4 FT2 server since March of this year and ever since, I am wayy addicted. I did play on other COD4 servers before that on and off for years. My favorite thing ingame is trying to save my teams ass when I’m the last one and hopefully get us back on our feet. In regular life, I study Clinical Psychology and I’m in the final year of my master. Regarding hobbies, I love love love bouldering. I boulder in the gym, because the Netherlands is as flat as a pancake, as we like to say. I did climb outside in France in September for the first time (Fontaine Bleau of course for those who know), which was so f.ing amazing. I can talk about bouldering for hours if you let me. Other than that, I love hiking, reading, horse riding on occasion, and in the summer I love to try out different sports. So that’s something about me, I hope to get to know you all better as well For now, see you in game and keep up with the jokes!
  21. First, I didn't vote before, because I indeed never played the old mod. Yesterday I played 5 hours, if it wasn't even more and I think you can get a general feel about a mod in that time and if you would like to play it more or not. Other than that, yeah, I'm quite new, but in these past 4 months I've played way too many hours both during the day European time as during the night, as many can attest to I believe. If you think that's enough, I leave up to you. Second, as long as it is opened to non-members, I'm gonna voice my opinion. I don't wanna whine about a mod without letting my voice be heard officially if I can. If people care about my opinion is another matter entirely and I again, I leave that up to you. Maybe start a new topic or something to discuss if you want non-members to have influence on these kinds of decisions.
  22. I just voted wrong, lol. (It's late over here, forgive me). I meant to vote for the new mod. I didn't vote before, because I felt like I couldn't make a fair decision when I hadn't played the old mod yet, but I did now that it's up for the weekend. Also, my first post on here. Basically, I like the new mod a lot more. I tried to keep track on the stuff I liked less and came up with the following things: - The old mod is a bit boring in my opinion. I actually really like all the extra stuff that was added. Also, heist can be a pain in the ass, but it also adds some fun suspense in my opinion. Which doesn't mean we can't bitch about it when someone steals our shit. - Score limit. I really like that better at 4. Also, the amount of time of a single round until sudden death seems longer? Or is that my imagination? The maps seem to go on forever (even when only one side is winning) and I can get bored quite easily again. Which barely ever happened with the new mod. - EMP range. You have to hit someone exactly on the head to actually thaw someone. - Time to thaw, which is a lot longer. - The killstreak distribution. I like that way better for the new mod. And also, what's in the package I believe. I think that's about it, but it's quite a lot. Of course, it's all personal preference and I just wanted to state mine here. Thank you for all the work that's put into these things!
