  1. Heehee. I can be very opinionated when the mood strikes me. Good natured here because good people here. But opinionated. But other places? I cant abide hypocrites or people that are way too full of themselves. Anyways, yep they are talking about another vote because the last one... which didnt lose by much... was predicated on the UK staying in. From what I read anyways. And yep the loony American 'secession' fringe is out again.
  2. You know the old saying about being careful what you wish for.
  3. Maybe Scotland will be asking for a do over.
  4. I would think someone from Texas would have a very different view of 'independence' as well.
  5. Typically paid for by 'bonds'. Thats called having your cake and eating it too.
  6. Independence from whom? The EU? Something the UK freely joined and could leave at any time? Now America... that was real independence. We had to fight long and hard for it costing many lives. Like many former British colonies around the world had to fight for it as well. The UK took a vote and said bye bye. Slap in the face to call this 'independence day'.
  7. Nah. I dont have a particular problem with white trash. Just the ones that support.... well... I wont say. Otherwise I might get in trouble.
  8. I dont go to walmart. Never have, never will. Thank you very much.
  9. People dont want to pay for it.
  10. Uh huh. Blame the lawyers and regulations. It's never, ever, extreme greed and everything else be damned. No responsibility. No accountability. Do you truly want to go back to the era where corporations could get away with whatever the hell they wanted? Or how like China is now? VW fucked up big time. Was it because regulations were too high? Companies dont go to mexico because of lawyers. They go there because their products are cheaper to make. If they can prevent lawsuits, its just more money in the bank. No reason to use that money to move back here when all it would do is increase costs with no benefit. Funny how people are expected to show responsibility but business is not.
  11. I suppose we in the states have a little different view, mostly. Took a long time and struggle but there was a before and after. Whether or not you thought of yourself as state first (Virginian or New Yorker) and American second. I dont recall who said it but there is quote. There came a time where it changed from the United States 'are' to 'is'. It was an interesting observation. Was the EU ever truly an 'is'? Reading comments here, and elsewhere, it almost sounds like many in the UK sorta long for the 'good ol days' and see the EU as stopping them. Harsh truth? Europe has too many former empires with histories of better days. In their hearts they want to call the shots. The people that voted yes, ask them why. We face the same problems here. Much worse than you do. We argue among ourselves much more than you do. We have more illegals here than the entire number that voted in your 'referendum' and its a big problem. But we arent leaving over them.
  12. An interesting point. At the time, did these same people support Scotland?
  13. The point being, bringing jobs back here will make many things significantly more expensive. So long as people understand this is the cost. Many dont think about it. Oh, and if you hate liberals and democrats, more workers in manufacturing means more labor unions. So long as you understand that as well.
  14. Beware those that want to kick over ant hills.
  15. Why does hxtr sound more and more like those anti-global anarchists that riot every one in awhile?
  16. Yea thanks for nothing guys.
  17. Enjoy all of your vastly higher prices.
  18. Yup costing lots of workers. But the main reason for all these agreements? Because everyone wants things cheap. Especially all the cheap shit they buy from China every week that they dont actually need. Ask and ye shall provide. Also, people dont want to pay $5.00 for an avocado or meat that costs $40 a pound. Add a couple thousand to the cost of a basic car. Lots more expensive to make stuff here between raw materials, land prices, executive pay, labor, stricter controls and all the rest. Not even taxes anymore since companies often get sweetheart deals to move to different areas. So... to get jobs back here... are you willing to pay for it? Or will you insist on prices to remain the same?
  19. Checked the logs, yea its that at those times there were no non-clan spectators and you had the lowest total time on the server.
  20. No its not built into the game. It IS however built into the mod. Checks for things like movement in a certain period of time. But it also is not foolproof especially in ftag when people just stand there for minutes at a time. You could add an exception to ignore frozen players. But then AFK players tend to get shot alot so its kinda moot.
  21. Ok yea as boom said there is no way to automatically know the difference between an uncontrolled player just standing there or someone actually running around. Priorities are based on current status and total play time on the server. XI clan members -> spectating XI clan members (in case of everyone actually being a clan member) -> in-game regular players -> spectating (not on a team) regular players. Kinda works like this on a basic level. Every player is assigned a number. The number is total playtime (in minutes) on the server. If you are a clan member, add a big number. If you are an in game regular player. Add nothing. If you are are a regular spectator, subtract a big number. Find the player with the lowest number and kick. Note that if you delete your profile you start at 0. Like ranking.
  22. Can you be more specific? How long have you actually spent time playing on the server in total? Not just today?
  23. Makes a little bit of sense. Some of the more stupid shit and lame brained people we see are probably the result of whoever is running the simulation screwing with us for fun.
  24. Uh oh! Got political! But thats ok. Terrorists exercise their 5th amendment rights when they go to trial.
  25. Careful. Someone might take the topic name as an invitation to get political.
