Correct. For C4 and all grenades that is a game limitation. The sticky nade I did it as a scripted nade. I think G13 does it the same way. When it hits a player the real nade is deleted then it starts the scripts that control a virtual one. You dont actually see it but can tell by the change in pitch of the sound. The same kind of thing could conceivably be done with C4 but the scripting required would be very complicated. Too many things to keep track of. As for the nade, could you be more specific about respawning normally? Dying by a cooked nade in your hands? That kind of thing is considered a suicide since you didnt actually fire it (rpg etc) nor was it something you shot like a claymore. Yes that is intentional. It avoids certain problems where you dont want players to freeze on suicides. But in 1.81 I can remove it and we can see what happens if any problems crop up.

Valid death? Is that like legitimate death? Stand in front of your own claymore then shoot it. Then tell me whether or not its a valid death. Next thing you know people will start complaining to me that certain kinds of deaths or suicides shouldnt count towards their scores.

The video is very clear in that it shows the hip fire of the 308 sucks. It's supposed to and there is nothing wrong with it. Other than it not doing everything you want the way you want. The balance of the weapon greatly benefits those that aim. The hipfire perk certainly helps. If you want accurate hip fire get the AK47. It is the only AR where hip fire is actually slightly better than aiming because it doesnt have as much kick. Dont ask me why they did it that way. Maybe because that is what they see in the movies. As for the map, maybe that was it. edit: Anyways hit detection is just fine. Too good in fact especially around the head. But thats the way they want it and I couldnt alter it even if I could.

Ends in overtime due to the time limit? The thing that seemed weird, if I remember how it looked, was that everybody was kicked off a team (yellow on scoreboard) so in essence everyone was a spectator. Or as tho it were a FFA game maybe.

A question for everyone, if you know. Every once in awhile I have seen maps on the server. but never at home, that end early or something with everyone in spectate and not on a team. Is there some commonality to this? I saw mp_school do this one time after the first round but not other times. Have you seen this on other mods? Which ones? Was an entire team frozen in regular time? Overtime? Stuff like that.

I know many people are loath to adjust their favorite loadout depending on the map and what the enemy does, but if you are in a cqc map full of bunny hopping tubers get a flak jacket. Reduces explosive damage to %35. A direct impact at your feet will still get you. But it basically reduces the kill range of such weapons to 1/2.

Get a short usb cable extender for the mouse. Problem solved.
