  1. Also got tired of the crouch nazis. Its a fucking game. I dont like bunnies either but you can get em with practice and its part of the game. So long as they arent lagbind cheaters.
  2. Thou shalt not use Windows?
  3. Crouch servers are overrated. If the goal is to move slowly then just stand and move without sprinting.
  4. Remember, its not the size that counts. Or so they say.

    Error log

I did yesterday run the bitdefender rootkit scanner and it didnt find anything. Just to be sure. Also antimallware and S&d. Just the usual housecleaning stuff. edit: well it didnt find any nasties. I guess the message about there being a disk problem was it and it was fixed. But I suppose that means I should do a more thorough examination.

    Error log

Thx I will try those. I hardly ever got bsod so this was unusual. I am also careful to never open email attachments and I refuse to ever go on facebook. Oh, and I will never buy a premade PC.
  7. That would more properly be http://www.urbandictionary.com/define.php?term=shoulda%20coulda%20woulda
  8. Does it have that new car smell? If not, I think it comes in a can.

    Error log

Thx. I thought there was an actual text log and it seems a dump would be written... if it was enabled. Which is wasnt. Of the two warnings today one says something about loading all dlls for every application around the time of the startup attempts. Maybe its related to the repair? But it seems to be happening now and then anyways and it didnt cause crashes. Dunno. But nothing that suggests anything what the bsod was for. The repair screen did twice say it was fixing some disk problems after which it restarted. The other is a DNS timeout for a place called slide.com that no longer exists. Wiki says Google bought it several years ago but it is now shutdown. I assume the web browser is trying to find it but the dns servers dont know what it is. Also fitocares.org whatever that is. Maybe they are ads for places that no longer exist. If so, no idea what would still be trying to access them.

    Error log

Hi is there a win7 error log file? On startup this morning I had to go through the window repair thing after a bsod and I would like to know what the problem was.
  11. I just hang up on em without so much as a 'byebye'.
  12. Still taking 15? Well they made some kind of significant change but instead of rolling it back they have a hard on for whatever change they did. Or maybe they are just blowing smoke and screwed with it on purpose. Thus far they havent admitted anything except 'we are aware of the problem' type of thing.
  13. Yea saw that awhile ago. $12 for a bottle of wine to ask for a bj? Cheap bastard. 12 bucks hardly qualifies for basic cheap dinner wine. But as to priceless commercials, this one is much better imho. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=I1FDsKtF2vI
  14. True. Then again, it shouldnt be legal to shoot a bear unless he is licking his lips getting ready to eat you.
  15. More than that, it is suggested that they also throttled them by artificially creating huge bottlenecks at significant locations. Yes that magically went away. The question is, should we trust the big telecoms when they say what they want will be better us.
  16. All this Obamacare garbage is just that. Garbage. And that is because it is almost nothing like the system as it was first proposed to congress. Maybe that one would have been better and it shouldnt have been changed by congress... right and left... into the mess we have now. You need to go ask yourself what the major changes to the original were, who wanted them, and what they did to get them.
  17. Fox tends to say Obama this or Obama that but forget how republican presidents have done the same or worse. Funny how one of their commentators is Ollie North but they ignore how he got sent to prison for selling arms to Iran.
  18. Imagine if in the OW2 mod I built in advantages for players that wanted to pay me a monthly subscription for it. The more you pay the higher the damage your gun will do. Or how about a micro transaction where if you pay me you will immediately get a tac nuke. Sound fair? Free market after all.
  19. This has less to do with you and I but business. If you are a small company trying to get into the streaming market against a dominate company... say a HULU type business vs Comcast... their deep pockets will allow them to basically squash you like a bug by preventing you from even doing business and providing your product to your customers. Or if you are Microsoft, and want more bandwidth than Sony in a finite amount of space, you can pay the big telecoms 100's of millions. Of course Sony cant have that. So they outbid Microsoft. Who exactly benefits the most from this? Who loses the most since in a situation like this neither of them, even with their wads of cash, dont see that much of an improvement. Its still a battle for space. Oh and of course we get to pay for all of this with higher xbox-live costs. Unlike many things people like to compare them to there is a set total amount of bandwidth available. Like cellphones, water, electricity or others. You cannot wish up more even if you have 5 billion to pay. We have this problem here in my area with water. We have a set amount and no way to get more of it. Yet developers want to build more and more and more. They need water so what little there is gets divided among more places leading to shortages and rationing. Because of this new developments are huge battles between residents, developers and the city council that wants the tax money. Imagine you have a local delivery company but Amazon can pay the city huge bucks to have Amazon-only lanes on the streets. UPS wont like this so it becomes a price war. The most streets go to the highest bidder. Neither would you when you need to go to work. Sound good to you? Of course in a situation like this the city would make a ton of money. But what if every street in the city were privately owned? The city... and by proxy you... would get nothing. If anything you lose what you already have. The free market is great but should not be the knee-jerk solution to everything as tho the system was infallible and can do no wrong.
  20. Killcams are overrated. There are other more important things I am working on atm anyways.
  21. Uh, yea. No spin there. Nope. Nadda.
  22. Since when did 'leaks' become facts?
  23. Except for the Redskins thing, because its recent and ongoing, all the others are old news now and there is no new information. All you can do is keep reporting over and over what we already know. After awhile it is just noise. As for the 'green' thing for example, lots of small companies that the govt sends money to fail. If you want to call it that. Especially defense related. Many billions of dollars are spent, every year, to learn how to do shit. So the things they make up, and more importantly their methods and patents, often go on to great successes. Such as the failed company that made up processes that the US military now uses so equipment is much less dependent on oil. Perhaps you call that a failure because it wasnt an immediate success in the commercial world. What exactly have you learned about F&F in the last 6-12 months that you didnt already know?
  24. That is incorrect. I could say %70 of the American people think Saudi Arabia is an enemy of the US. But I cannot prove it. Doesnt mean I must be wrong because in the absence of being challenged to do so I could very well be right. In this case Stewart should have been. You ask to ask yourself why he wasnt. This is also the kind of thing that happens when a commentator on Fox says something as fact but nobody else inside the conservative world challenges it. Including other people on Fox. If there is no conservative equal to challenge Fox on what it says then it can present whatever it wants as truth. If CNN or Jon Stewart challenges it? They are called lying liberal hacks and their comments are worthless. True or not.
  25. There are mistakes. And there is spin. Fox has quite a few guests that fit the category of the one in question in this post. He was wrong and he knows he was wrong. The question is whether or not Fox consistently calls people on it when they are. Including their own commentators. News only gets a free pass from their supporters. Fox viewers give it a free pass when they are wrong or guests outright lie. Dedicated CNN viewers do the same. However two wrongs dont make a right. On the other hand when CNN does something truly stupid, and they do, it doesnt go unnoticed by the competition. For Fox there are no other media outlets on the right to tell them they were stupid. Its what goes with being the only game in town. If Fox had true right-leaning cable news competition things would be quite different. But they dont.
