Red spikes are normal so long as they dont happen constantly. They represent lost or dropped packets that are no different than in any other downloaded data. Could be due to a variety of reasons. The real ones to watch out for are yellow spikes because they represent sync between the client and the server. The bigger the yellow the more out of sync you are.

The tax rates in the US used to be much higher also. On par with Germany. It allowed for example the building of many very expensive national projects that we all rely on a daily basis. And more importantly without trillion dollar deficits or debts. Its not a question of whether or not taxes are high. Its a matter of what they are used for and if the return is greater than what is taken in. Yes that even includes the military when it got rid of the draft. No shared sacrifice in the defense of the nation. Not even in taxes. Want a brand new fleet of shiny new fighters? Yup. Wanna raise your taxes to help pay for them all? Never. How selfish is that? The US is different than all other 1st world places because it is heavily ingrained within society that its every man for himself. No national unity. Is it any wonder there are states that would love to break apart the union? They dont care about the other 49 populated with people that are no better than foreigners. As long as they get theirs. If this trend continues the United States of America will cease to exist within 100 years.

A lot also depends on the unique way in which the wtc was constructed. It was more of an exoskeleton than anything else.

Who has used or knows how accurate SAMs are in BO and MW3? I havent played either enough to know and youtube vids are hardly conclusive. How often do they miss? If the vids are to believed they never do. The ow2 launcher with two shots at a time is really cool but I am running into fx limits with all the trails, flares and explosions so I think I will be forced to stick with one at a time for each. Which is what I think BO has. The 4X one in MW3 would be impossible. edit: it also looks like flares in mw3 dont actually attract anything and just make the missile, either launcher or hand-held, fly in a straight line. Seems BO only fires one. So I guess to keep fx in check I am going to stick with that. Sucks.

Yes once you get the settings correct OBS works very well. However its a pain in the ass to get a video editor to use it because of the 264 container/format.

I dont have pirated software on my computer so that is not an issue but I never liked the idea of having some company putting something deep inside of my computer that checks me out like the NSA and is near impossible to get rid of. Once caught I am unlikely to believe them when they say 'you can trust us now'.

I never really knew much about it but it seems people say that in cod4 while it helps with smoke it is worse for shadows most everywhere else. Hide in the shadows and you are near invisible. So its a trade off. Is seeing through smoke worth having a hard time seeing people in dark areas? In darker maps without much ambient light it is probably near impossible to play. I suppose in this server maybe have a better mix of normal and darker maps. Such people would likely leave.

You sure do have a lot of quick launch icons. Game looks good and the price is right these days but I dont like the drm it installs. I am very particular what goes on my system.
