If you are not aware of KnujOn, you need to be. Through KnujOn, you can submit spam reports and thereby help in the fight against Internet corruption in general. Once you get hooked up with them (it's a free-to-join organization, but there are paid options if you feel you can contribute in that way) you will learn far more about the insidious levels of Internet corruption that exist today, and why you are spammed mercilessly over the internet. As evidence of the kind of information I receive through KnujOn on an occasional basis regarding the war on Internet corruption, here is an email I received from Garth at KnujOn this morning. I hope you will take the time to read it and consider how much better the Internet could be if the people responsible for enforcing even the most basic code of ethics would actually do their job.

Yeah - I think that's a new setting. Nine months or so ago when I looked at it, I don't think it had that option at all, and there was some lamenting about it in some forums. Glad they got it figured out. Do you like using ShadowPlay? I might look at it again if you think it's a good contender for better quality game recordings. I just HATE xfire videos due to that audio sync bug!

The free version of FRAPS only records for 30sec and has a watermark. The paid version lets you record for an unlimited time. It's $37, so it doesn't break the bank, but it's not free either. One thing to check (while using the FREE version) is whether it can record your own voice. Many cannot because it's recording audio off of the playback channel, not the record channel. ShadowPlay from NVIDIA has great quality if you have a NVIDIA card meeting its requirements, but that lack of your own voice thing was a big disappointment to me. I think NVIDIA may have worked around that though, so look into ShadowPlay maybe. Xfire doesn't record your voice either, and you're right @@BigPapaDean, the out of sync audio makes evaluating hacker videos extra hard. And no, @@RiDDiCk_VI, I'm not hacking, so stop stalking me you WHORE!

I had "issues" with the game that prevented me from playing it for several months. I'm not sure who put me on to the actual fix - OddJob001 or BoomSlang maybe - but anyway, my point is that the game can be remarkably finicky. If it decides you ain't gonna play, you just ain't gonna play. But I think all indications really point to the quality of KEG's internet connection above all else. Hard to do much about that if he has no other choices.

Yup! Personally, I welcome Real into our servers because he pushes me to be better. He tasks me. He makes me bring my A game. And although it may not always be better than his (okay, yeah, it never is, lol), it makes it all the sweeter when I take him out. And then we have a good laugh over it. I am baffled that others don't see it as an opportunity for growth and sportsmanship, but maybe that's just me.

That's actually the exact same button, SOB, but I'm running with the "Elegant" theme, and I guess you're using the "Blood" theme, so they look a little different between themes. We're doing it the exact same way.

Having posted extensively in the Turn The Other Cheek forum, I can tell you the best way to upload images is to do it like this: It looks like that's just what you did, @@iboomboom, but the other thing about this server's image upload feature is that it always scales images down to a certain pre-defined width if it exceeds that width. Unfortunately, it resizes the image, not just limits the dimensions shown in the post, so even when you click on the image to see the full-size version, you won't get it there either. Maybe that's something could change at some point. It's also worth mentioning that the XI website is on of the few that lets you upload images at all. Many force you to host your image elsewhere and then just link to it. Nothing says "aw, fuck that" like making you jump through hoops just to post an image. So thank you XI for letting us upload pics.

I'm with you @Sitting- - Elegant FTW. That said, I do like #2 and #7 and probably would use either if I ever have to go back. Can you make the background a preference selection rather than an absolute? @@OddJob001 - Before I found out that Elegant was a choice, I used to change text color to yellow as it seemed far more legible that the default color on the dark theme. I think it was because someone bitched that it was illegible on Elegant that I learned of the alternate theme in the first place. Now I just don't change text color for that very reason. Everyone should strop and think about that for a moment - not that I don't change colors, but about the illegibility factor with certain colors, lol. Red is okay for emphasis occasionally and doesn't look bad on either dark or light themes, but that's as far as I go.
