  1. A new set of maps has just come into rotation. All servers have been reset to get them playing. Downloader has been updated. Enjoy! Winter and Holiday rotations coming soon, I believe, right @@Labob? Snow maps first, then we'll really turn on all the holiday lights! Jingle Bells, Jingle Bells, Jingle all the way. Watch out there's a betty there, And a can of gas on the waaaaaaay!
  2. My understanding is that Extra is being warned. Please advise me if the harassment continues. I will not tolerate the ongoing harassment of any player on our servers, member or not, or by a member or non-member. It is a violation of our terms of conduct, and of good sportsmanship in general.
  3. @@RiDDiCk_VI - The address of the REDLINE server is on the XI website homepage along with the addresses of all out game servers.
  4. P.S. @@RiDDiCk_VI - Gaming on REDLINE this evening ROCKED. I totally kicked Ricko's ass. He won't be able so sit there for a wank it's so sore.
  5. I have the cutest little micro-miniskirt I could put on for you Ricko. That wank is sounding pretty good now, 'eh mate?
  6. Welcome aboard.
  7. @@2_MANY_BEERS - When I first looked at the redirect, there was a mp_hunt_winter folder inside another mp_hunt_winter folder. The nested folder contained the actual map files. I assumed the redirect would not work with the actual map files nested like that, so I renamed the outer mp_hunt_winter folder to mp_hunt_winter-with-docs and copied the inner mp_hunt_winter out to the usermaps folder. That should have fixed the redirect. But yes, I probably could have just skipped all that and put all the files in one folder. As for DM1, DM2, and MW, I just copied the new single mp_hunt_winter folder over to them. I guess I actually didn't check the game servers after the copy to verify it was all correct, but the copy progress dialog I got during the copies made it look like everything was going to the right place. Thanks for fixing whatever snafu occurred. I actually knew what I was doing. I just made a spot decision to rename what was originally placed on the redirect and create a new, correct map folder from the nested folder I found. I did it that way as a form of documentation of what was there originally so if what I had done turned out to bork the map, it would easily have been put back to how I found it. There is an "arena" file in the outer folder that I've never seen before. It's contents look like a JSON file, and I had no idea what it's for or why the files were organized the way they were when I found them.
  8. What should this be considered, @@Labob - a small. medium, or large map for the DM1 rotations? I will copy the map from the redirect to the MW, DM1 and DM2 servers. I will also put it as the first map in the current rotation once I know what size it should be placed into on DM1. I could get it onto MW and DM2 as soon as the ftp copy is done, too, I suppose...
  9. If you purchase the basic game, BF4 should show up. There is no game tile entry in your "My Games" screen for the Premium Membership. Only the game itself shows up. The "Premium" thing only shows up in the Battlelog in your browser when you launch the game. My Origin account and Battle log are shown below:
  10. She only got the Premium Pack. She needs the game itself, too. It's a no-go without it. When asked about purchasing this game it should always be made clear that there is the game, and then there is the Premium Pack which is sold separately. Even if one is on sale, the other may not be. Those who purchased it back when it came out dropped a little over a C-Note to get the game and the Premium Pack. Both components may be discounted together or separately, but I've never seen it where there was only one all-inclusive purchase.
  11. Um.... That belongs in the Boobs and Bums forum, Keg. lol
  12. Happy Thanksgiving.
  13. post pics. Good Luck. Always remember to keep the Magic Smoke inside all the components. If the smoke escapes, it don't work no more.
  14. This will help you better understand where your ping is loosing the battle. Then you can discuss it with your ISP. http://www.pingplotter.com/freeware.html Note: It's free, and it's good, but the "free" part means watch out for crapware in the installer. I don't recall any being in there, but just don't blindly keep clicking "next" just in case.
  15. Awesome tune, @@LandShark - loved hearing it again after such a long while, especially a live performance. Thanks.
  16. New map rotations are in play on the DM, DM2, Modern Weapons, and Vietnam Freezetag servers. The XI Downloader has been updated with the new map rotations. Have Fun; Play Nice!
  17. I will - once he's met the requirements. On one condition, though. He has to change his avatar pic, because it looks like he's wearing a bra, or a dress, or some shit like that, with a cowboy hat and a scarf.
  18. I think this is more likely a case of PB being turned on recently and it seeming like the Win8.1 upgrade was to blame. The good news is that PB works fine on Win8.1, and COD5 has never run more stable for me than on Win8.1. You just need to get it configured correctly. Basically, that means getting the right PB files in the COD5 PB folder. I fixed 2 other memebers' PCs by simply TeamViewing their computer and copying up my PB folder to their computers. Piece of cake.
  19. Nice. I hope you're not planning to put your OS on that SSD, though. IMHO, that's a mistake. I'd reserve the SSD for high disk bandwidth games and/or programs. I'd also have doubled the HDs and use one as a backup drive. If your games all support SLI, I guess 2 680s are okay. Seems to me SLI is more trouble than it's worth. Especially since its "worth" is the cost of 2 cards instead of maybe 3/4 the price of both for a single higher end card and no compatibility issues or concerns over power consumption, heat, etc. Again, just MHO. Your mileage may vary, and that looks to be a kick-butt system!
  20. If you are not aware of KnujOn, you need to be. Through KnujOn, you can submit spam reports and thereby help in the fight against Internet corruption in general. Once you get hooked up with them (it's a free-to-join organization, but there are paid options if you feel you can contribute in that way) you will learn far more about the insidious levels of Internet corruption that exist today, and why you are spammed mercilessly over the internet. As evidence of the kind of information I receive through KnujOn on an occasional basis regarding the war on Internet corruption, here is an email I received from Garth at KnujOn this morning. I hope you will take the time to read it and consider how much better the Internet could be if the people responsible for enforcing even the most basic code of ethics would actually do their job.
  21. I haven't looked at Twitch much at all, but for as little as I have looked, I thought it was just a live streaming service, not a record and store service. Let me know you like it please, @@BigPapaDean.
  22. Yeah - I think that's a new setting. Nine months or so ago when I looked at it, I don't think it had that option at all, and there was some lamenting about it in some forums. Glad they got it figured out. Do you like using ShadowPlay? I might look at it again if you think it's a good contender for better quality game recordings. I just HATE xfire videos due to that audio sync bug!
  23. Congratulations @@BigPapaDean ! I only wish that this would inspire a good number of people in this clan to take note of Dean's accomplishments and start realizing and believing that there really are people who are spectacularly good without hacking.
  24. The free version of FRAPS only records for 30sec and has a watermark. The paid version lets you record for an unlimited time. It's $37, so it doesn't break the bank, but it's not free either. One thing to check (while using the FREE version) is whether it can record your own voice. Many cannot because it's recording audio off of the playback channel, not the record channel. ShadowPlay from NVIDIA has great quality if you have a NVIDIA card meeting its requirements, but that lack of your own voice thing was a big disappointment to me. I think NVIDIA may have worked around that though, so look into ShadowPlay maybe. Xfire doesn't record your voice either, and you're right @@BigPapaDean, the out of sync audio makes evaluating hacker videos extra hard. And no, @@RiDDiCk_VI, I'm not hacking, so stop stalking me you WHORE!
