Happy birthday, Sweet Rose. Everyone sing, with me, Sweet Rose's birthday song: "Every . . . Rose has its thorn . . . Every cowboy (help me out on this, our resident Pennsylvania Idol!)" Lol, sweetheart, hope you had a great one. Ayaq Sent from smart phone, hope to be talkin' and playin' with you crazy people within a week. Ayaq

Please welcome J3st3rXI back to the COD4 Admin team

Welcome back, Pvt. Death, Admin. Good to have you back, sir. Great decision, Seniors, and great acceptance, Death. Mr. Edd brought you back, Death, "kicking and creaming?" And what, pray tell, was Mr. Edd doing to you to bring about the "creaming" part, hmm? Hmm? Lol. Ayaq Sent from my Samsung Galaxy S7 Edge, or something like that. Ayaq -

Status update: I'm outta the house, typing right now from the hotel "business center." I still have my computer in my truck, and I asked if I could hook it up so I could get on TS and play some COD4. When some people say "no," they often mean "maybe." I persisted, but when she grabbed her walkie-talkie and asked for security, I relented. I'm just relaxing in this pretty comfortable hotel, enjoying sleeping on a real--and nice--bed. Now, when I wake up puching, it doesn't hurt as much. Lol. The great news is that my MRI came back "negative" for a torn Achille's tendon (read: "no surgery necessary"). That was the part I wanted to hear, that I wouldn't have to go under the knife. The bad news is, it is indeed strained, and the doc says it takes time for soft-tissue Achilles injuries to heal. Still stomping around in my immobilizing boot. I've tried walking without it, but after a few mins, I gotta strap it back on. No, Scottie, I'm not strapping "that" on, I'm strapping on my waling boot. Crazy guy. Still missing the crap outta you beautiful guys and manly girls--wait, how's that go again? Lol. More good news: The swelling of my concrete-smashing left hand has gone down, and while still sore, it doesn't look like it'll need any medical attention. My "pinky knuckle" looks like its a bit off-kilter, but I don't feel any bones in places they shouldn't be. My older sister asked me if I had an x-ray on my hand, and I lied and told her I did. You guys on FT1--you know, you regulars, you know?--wanna do me a favor and have a few "nade-only" sessions while only a few of you are on? Poor Lil' Acorn, wanted to go "nades and knives" only just before I pulled the plug. Having some darn COD4 withdrawals, from time-to-time. Many of you are what I truly consider "friends," and the ones that are drooping their heads now know who I'm talking about. I'll be back. Miss the heck outta you fabulous and wonderful >XI<--and Friends of >XI<--people. Maybe the new homeowners will let me hook my computer back up for a day to "rekindle" my skills, whether they be nading or dying (and yes, Ms. Penguin, sweetheart, you were always there for me with your defrosting raygun. And yes, Sweet Athena, in knife-only matches, it would have been easier for me to slit my own throat than to wait for the inevitable.). I miss those venom-dripping, black, and barbed thorns with no know antivenin. Sweet Chicken, sing with me, in as deep a growly voice ruining a good song that only Ayaq can: "Every. . . Rose, has it's thorn . . ." I miss signing on daily so we could insult the living-heck outta each other--albeit in a loving, tender way, of course. Okay, security's coming, gotta sign off!!!! Love ya guys. Ayaq, aka "Paul the Impaler," an upgrade from "Paul the Self-Immolator." -

Thanks, everyone, again, for all of your well-wishes, all of them, except for you, Lady Gaga. Yes, you know who you are. You live on the second floor, and I live upstairs from you, and yes, I think you've seen me before. I'm not gonna mention 'Lady Gaga's' real in-game name, but his (her?) initials are 'MajorYahoo>XI<.' Hehahehahhehahehe! I was actually laughing out loud as I was typing that. You guys and gals are the best. I mean that. Damn it, I tried to horn in on T-Rat's corner, but he was busy pushing Lady Gaga outta his corner 'cause he was catering to his (her?) transgender clients. Lady Gaga, I've never seen anyone running that fast in 6-inch stilhettos! Did you hear me rooting you on, as T-Rat was pulling off your wig, yelling "Go, Gaga, Go!!!" I liked how you tried to blindly flail your embroidered purse at T-Rat, but you missed. However, T-Rat, with his well-stitched purse that was laden with pennies, landed a pretty damned-good and solid blow to the back of your head, sending you stumbling. I couldn't help but stumble myself in my own 6-inch stilettos, falling down laughing. Then, T-Rat, who is a master at negotiating those Boston cobble-stone streets in his very own 6-inch stilettos (his are prettier than yours, Gaga, 'cause he has Liberace-style glittery stuff on his) started chasing me, swinging his 50-pound bag of pennies, so I took the damn shoes off and ran. Lol. Nay, LMAO. This will be my last post in a while. Say 'Good night, Gracie.' I love you people. God bless you. Yes, you too, Rami. Lol. By the way, Rami, that was a fake 'Lol' for you, since I've appreciated your prayers, sir. Ayaq, aka, "Paul" -

Thanks, everyone, for your well wishes. I truly appreciate them, you sons-of-a . . . . Lol, even you, Frenchi (hoh, hoh, hoh!!), even though I didn't understand a word you typed. I have one more day of reprieve; the inspector was late on his re-inspection, so the buyers won't be closing until today (Alaska Standard Time). So, I have one more day before I gotta unplug and pack Betsy for the journey. Wish things coulda worked out differently, but I believe things happen for a reason, even my torn Achilles tendon and (still) swollen left fist. Note to self: stop punching out the concrete floor while dreaming about punching some evil guy in the face. Lol, and ow (still hurts to type). Getting an MRI on the heel tomorrow (I'll probably need surgery), and I'll ask 'em to throw in a hand x-ray "on the house." Lol, you don't get stuff unless you ask for it. I've actually gotten several free lunches by guilting the restaurant owners into paying the bill. No, I wasn't begging, and I wasn't in such a state of disrepair that it looked like I needed it. And no, all you buggers, I didn't have to give any "special favors" to anyone. I'm gonna trade my 6-inch stilettos for something a little more comfortable, maybe pumps or jogging shoes, or something. Lol. Damn, I'm gonna miss playing with you guys and gals. I got one more day (gotta check to see when my appt. is later today) to play hard. The new owners of the house can't wait to move in. The two boys love the tree house I built for my daughter. The father is especially anxious and excited to move in; I couldn't tell who was more excited during the "walk through" today--the Dad or the kids. I'll put in a leave of absence when I unplug this thing tomorrow night (thanks, Budman). Had a great day today. The buyers were happy, and my cousin invited me over to his house for a celebratory gourmet halibut and salmon meal--all the fixins. We washed it down with a coupla bottles of some great cabernet sauvignon. See, Frenchi, I told you I can speak French. Lol. During my temporary black out period, I sure am gonna miss you guys. I try to bring a smile to people's faces, and you guys and gals certainly have delivered many smiles to my face. Hand is hurting too much to type much more. Arevous, or however you spell it in French. See, Frenchi, I told you I knew French!!! Lol. Hugs and kisses--yes, even to you, Scottie. Ayaq -
Happy birthday, Sammy. I know I speak for all of us in that we really appreciate all the work you do to keep the servers running. Ayaq

Anyone remember Darryl Hall and John Oates? Lol. I am outta this shell of a house today. I've got to pack the rest of the residuals my ex-wife left me to ship to my hometown. After trying to "negotiate" with the ex-wife yesterday about her trying to chip in to pay a bit--just a bit--of the $40k I spent to fix this house (so it would even be for sale), I threw my hands up. The tens of thousands of dollars I spent on the driveway, new roof, new furnace, new paint, new cedar fence--with 10-foot treated posts, mind you--etc., etc., seem to have elapsed from her memory. In Alaska, which is a "no-fault" state, what's yours is "ours," and what's hers is "hers." Hell hath no fury like a scorned (ex-wife) woman. I am not "gone," per se, just relocating. However, I will be relocating, temporarily, I believe, to a place that doesn't have as good (good? My frickin' ping is 150 on the current servers!!) a connection as I do here in Anchorage, Alaska. Lol. Just kidding, you Admins. and others behind the scenes that make things "go." I've appreciated all the work you've done. Once the house closed, I was going to make a generous contribution to the family; i.e., the clan, but my illustrious and compelling reasons to "share the house-hold burden" fell to the wayside. I'm going back to my loving "original" family, which includes my loving father and older sister that spent $3k to fly me back to my hometown so I could de-tox from extreme, and I'm talking 3, 750mL-bottles-of-rum-extreme, daily consumption after the divorce and resultant loss of the job. I don't give a frick about the 6-figure job I lost--I can always make more money. It was the loss of having my son's and daughter's presence under the same roof that I was under that cut to the quick. No, T-Rat, I'm not gonna steal your corner, like Major Yahoo thinks I will, 'cause I can't walk those cobble-stone streets in Boston like you do. Lol. I believe my relocation is only temporary: I just need to re-ground myself, and find new spark. My kids were my spark, so now I've got to invent a new reason to rekindle that spark. I'll log in, from time-to-time, to maintain my standing with >XI<. However, I will surely miss all the action and lovingly-hurled insults that we've all shared in FT1. Like the esteemed General said of the Philippines in WWII, and like Arnold Schwarzenegger (however you spell his frickin' name), "I shall return," and "i'll be baak," respectively. I'm gonna miss you guys. Will be playing soon, and getting my ass kicked even more with my as-yet-to-be-determined-ping. I love you guys. P.S. - If I don't log in as required, I hope one of you Admins. will re-sponsor me. Lol? (laughing nervously) Lol. I love all you >XI< guys and gals, and regulars--you know who you are. ROTU 2.2.2 Server MIA
AyaqGuyaq replied to AyaqGuyaq's topic in Call of Duty 4's Call Of Duty 4 Discussion
Thanks for the update, Sammy. A lot of playing FT1 will scurry to the ROTU 2.2.2 just because it's up again, making Sally sad that her players are leaving to another--albeit another >XI<--server. Sometimes 9 of us will be playing like crazy to not die because we'll have to wait another 20 - 30 mins. before it comes up again. We'll go back to FT1 and get excited when someone reports that it's working again. Ayaq -
Must be nice, it says "Marshall" twice on the face. I guess whoever "Marshall" is wanted to make sure whoever bought his system knew who made it. Just sayin'. Lol. Looks like a nice collectible. Ayaq

Okay, hold on, Little Old Man: the man is asking young girls to reach up his kilt? Does he hang around playgrounds much? Maybe a "young Scottish woman" woulda made the joke better--just sayin'. Lol. Ayaq

JohnnyDos, you have to wear the "necklace" around the neck, not around the waist. That's why you hear Howler Monkeys bellowing from down there. Sheesh. (snickering) Ayaq -
My glass is invariably half-full. "Buttons," if he was as good-a-person as he sounds like he was, doesn't have to worry about evil anymore. "Karma" has an amazingly-wondrous (in my experiences, good and bad) way of weaving its web, however. I've found that it is inherently much better to do good than bad. Ayaq
