Did you plug the cpu power back in . Plus these guys not like me because I can guess better then they can need the make and model of said setup . If your board has onboard video and your using a video card it's possible that the bios update reset your machine back to onboard video thus giving you the black screen and no beed code errors. To check just plug the monitor into the onboard video. Good luck

You might also want to try reloading the patches as I remember there were 3 times they fixed something to do with server browser 1.2 1.3 can't remember the other. I'll try to find a post about the patches tommorow for you.

Ok so I don't think its your game I'm thinking its a firewall problem or router issue? First get rid of spy doctor crap olla should be called problem creator doctor. Make sure your game has permission to go through the fire wall. Second reboot your router and modem and see what happens. What else you got running for anti virus soloutions ?

Have you tried refreshing the master server list by going to internet (instead of favorites ) and then refreshing ??

Well as good as it sounds its much worse then ya think. First the design method for a minimap the map is suppose to be square. This is because the image taken is an orthographic image. Most are not and this forces the mapper to fudge the minimap corners by bringing them to high or to low. By doing this he screws up the z axis throwing off miost chances of the minimap being accurate. (best example is all the targets are on the sides of the minimap) Also the minimap is one dimentional so you can't tell if he or she is above or below you. Now its not that bad but I can say you would be off by a grid or two. And last to alter an image in a map you would need the mapper permision to do so. Then I could teach you how to edit the minimap image. Seems like a lot of work for something that would not work so well. Good idea though way better then he's right in front of me in the green bush or he's in the building to my left LOL love that one. Best to learn or teach the compass points. Oh forgot he's hiding behind the tree
