Spawns are an issue and just making it TDM is not going to help. When a map is made there's spwan point for each version of the game. Now some mappers know this and set it up so TDM spawn points axis and allies (what ther called) are set up on oppiste sides of the map same with CTF and SAB. Now some mappers don't relize this there knew or just don't know better. So and we have all seen it we spawn every where including on the enemys side. So my vote is for map culling we have so many to choose from. And damage you been here a long time just pm an adm they will know what you say is true . And its only Beers that were going to work till he drinks himself silly . Toss the bad map day August 13th to be followed by Global map hurling Sept 4th

Well most companies are going virtual because the best feature of a virtual drive is if it gets corrupted you just wipe it build a new one and your done in minutes. Now thats sweet. Your right on back ups but their are alot of ways to back up I use a nas so for me its not an issue. For speed I could see a virtual disk getting close to as fast as a true disk but now we are going into raid arrays to get that type of speed. Getting complicated for some people. So there's lots of reasons for both I like the dual boot because I need the space on my Win 7 HD. But if its just because you have a program that only runs under XP a virtual drive is great. And don't be sorry were only talking nano seconds here ( virtual drives do have an extra layer of folders to read through ) I do love all the choices that we have to solve problems we don't need LOL

Windows is still faster running on its own partition and Virtal drives are slower.

All above is good and true but what bothers me is you say your win 7 load seems slow and XP one crashes. SO I don't know. I'm guessing sata drives so try changing out the plug on the MB to a different one for your XP HD maybe even just switching the Win 7 and XP plugs @ MB. Check to see if the MB drivers are there for your XP HD. Refresh BIOS ? I'm wondering if it might be faster to just reload XP here instead of solving this issue as well. You could just have a bad load ? All your updates went fine ? I truly don't see why 2 Operating systems on 2 different HD's would affect how the other one operates except fot the MB going funny on you and the bios going funny as well. So I'm going to say the Win 7 HD just seems slow but is in fact fine. And the XP load is the issue and needs to be redone. Thats my thought process good luck

Sorry the other question is how did you load the Xp pro onto the new HD ? Windows has a problem with loadinf old operating systems while a new one is present. So make sure your new HD is the only one present when loadinf then hook both up and use the F8 key ? Am I close ? LOL its hard to tell with little info sorry.

Are you using the windows boot loader f8 to chose between HD ?

nothing windows 7 nothing and when I fill up a hard drive I get a new one and start fresh cc cleaner can't do that - now thats a clean reg . For defrag I'll use spinrite do it once right and your done for life. Defrag is such an out dated program. BTW none of this works on ssd's and defraging on a windows or vista build is really not worht it . But then again I also say using a tweaked config file is a waste of time too. If it takes all weekend to fix it and an hour to load a fresh build ??

What sounds like most of the cops I've dealt with. Just last summer some asshole drove around the corner way to fast at 2 in the morning right into th front of my car and ran. The cop was giving me a hard time till I made him understand I was the victim here. They must be trained to be so agresive and in your face.

Still say the best way is dropbox dropbox.com is free and starts at 2 gig and everytime a member joins you get another 250 meg. Members can upload any file and admins can view it anytime as well as anymember with acesses. The file remains on line til the administrator removes it. Upload and download speeds are as fast as our rediects. An ^ption worth looking into.

Mine says 7.20 and I'm cool with that it might change but not by much a little every second or so. I do have a big one up starirs and it makes some big chi9mes every 15 minutes or so but it doesn't get much hotter then ambient temp. I do cool this shit down with a Costco 2600 fan on Med and all is well hope tha thelps out you geeks. - Now if you guys can come up with a ball sack cooling device that doesn't let the ladys know I'm packing and water cool is a no no had a leak once and sufice to say that girl will never look me in the eyes again. Got to hate the crotch leaks.
