This weeks gun is a very popular and well made gun developed for Israeli Paratroopers. The UZI The most common UZI is the 9mm made in Semi-Auto and Full Auto This one is the UZI Model A 9mm PARA Semi-Auto Manufactured by IMI in Israel. This is the most accurate gun with Iron sights I have ever shot. Shooting a 9mm pistol round I had some good grouping at 100yds. The stock Magazine hold 25rds. The Semi-Auto sold here in the USA comes with the longer 16" barrel and the Full Auto comes with a 10" Barrel. Sometimes when I want to freak out the neighbors I wrap a towel around my head and hang this baby around my neck and jump up on the hood of my truck and start yelling/chanting . . . . . .(Don't try this where you live unless you know the Sheriff . . .he he) "Gun Control has always meant using both hands" Be Safe Idiots

I still think being in the top 100 squads in this game (currently 97th) is something to be proud of being Idiots and all. CobraBites is right the game has improved with the recent updates and it seems to take less time to get matched into a game. I'm still flying Japanese biplanes in level I just because they handle so good but mostly level II. I'm going to take the leap into level III but everything takes so damn many silver lions.

I can see how you cant seem to stop going to the range with that gun . . . . I would be burning up some shells myself. There is a gun range about an 1/8 of a mile from my house in a small canyon and it's free to go shoot . . . very cool considering that when I lived in southern California you either drove an hour and a half to shoot in the desert or PAY at an outdoor shooting range. What a joke that was. A tip of the hat to you for teaching your son the proper way to handle a firearm. Despite all the whining from the people that are anti-gun . . . I think it's something teens /young adults should know . . it could save a life or prevent a crime.

I agree some Idiots could relapse when put in a wild situation and could become dangerous however I have been certified safe. My wildness can only be unleashed by ladies with like wild tendencies or stockings and high heels . . . . I think a State park or National Park, National Recreation Area would be a great inexpensive alternative. Idiots with boats could bring them, everyone likes to fish, alcohol could be consumed within reason and no reason to drive. Camping is a great way to really get to know people and when in a group of friends . . . safe. We're all idiots but adult idiots and I would expect as a group could keep each other from acting like one. If camping isn't chosen this year for XI -fest I would like to make a proposal to make camping a separate event each year so some people that can't make it to the regular XI-Fest could go to Camp-fest. Each year all members could post their suggestion for where they think the camp-fest should take place with a cut off date of like may 1st the Date of the Camp-fest could be chosen the same way. This way there would be no indecision about where to go and the dates would be set as well. For members that want to attend but cant afford it there would be time to set up carpooling and donations could be collected.

I missed last weeks "Gun of the week " . . . .I had some Fishing i had to attend too. This weeks gun is a Henry's Big Boy tube fed 10 shot lever action .44 magnum. This gun is a fine piece of craftsmanship from the wood stock to the brass action, it's light, easy to handle and accurate. it's not really a "distance shooter" but can deliver a punishing blow even out to 200 yds. The scope I chose for this gun is nothing special since the round being shot is only effective out to 200 yds it makes no sense to put a powerful "reach out and smack something" scope on it. It shoots a round that was originally developed for a handgun ( Like the gun used by Clint Eastwood in Dirty Harry ) but since its being used in a rifle the powder charge and bullet weight has been modified for optimum effect. When a cow that had lost an eyeball because of a type of cancer needed to be put down I chose this gun because its business oriented and efficient . . A "one shot drop shop" if you will. Sweet Gun Coffee4You Very nice! A friend of mine has a "shotty" that has a 50 Rd drum magazine ( i'm sure you could find one for your gun as well) It's expensive to empty the clip and may loosen a few tooth fillings. Needless to say you cant go duck hunting with that mag on your gun but for home intruders it's "open season"! Despite that fact that it is hugely expensive the AA-12 is a sought after gun. Some gun enthusiasts will drop big money on certain guns . .. . That one looks like its so smooth and holding on target is no problem.

Make Time. Just make it happen. I keep several fishing rods and lures / tackle in my vehicle all the time so when I drive past a lake or river that looks like it needs me to make a couple cast's in it I'm ready. It's easy to make excuses about why you don't get time to fish . . . . . . It's a helluva lot more fun showing pictures and telling stories about the fish you catch. Spending some time fishing relaxes you .. even if you don't catch anything.

What method do you use to catch those carp? We have an event here called the "Big Lip Tournament" where the local Trout fishing guides compete on their day off . Fly rods only, most use a grasshopper imitation for a lure. The guides are used to fishing a moving river so the lake can be a challenge. I can't recall the charity that they donate too but everyone spending time raising money to donate deserves a "pat on the back" and cold beer . WTG Grumpy_Git !

@Phoenix911 I was thinking the same thing. Vegas is cheap for rooms and eats. Lots of adventures, go carts, water parks and just a short drive north is the Vegas speedway almost always something going on there. Inexpensive airfare from most places and regular international flights. There is still time to consider Vegas Baby and as always what happens in Vegas stays in Vegas I cant believe nobody liked my XI Campfest Idea

OK here is the deal. There is plenty of room here in Montana and early September has incredible weather. No need to book rooms bring sleeping bags and tents camping is FREE here at the Bighorn Canyon National Park (you wont be able to afford a room after spending"bookoo" on gas). Alcohol is readily available and you can get as loud as you feel like . .hell even get neked . . . no one getting booted from this party. Casinos are nearby if your feeling "lucky" and if you win big maybe you can get "lucky" Yellowstone Park is just a couple hours away but Bighorn Canyon is right here and amazingly beautiful Free guided Leadfinger Fly Fishing(unofficial) trips in my boat (lunch and beer not included) guaranteed to catch a Brown or Rainbow trout (or your money back) very little traffic . .hell hardly any people . . . . fresh air . . just a helluva place to throw a party Picture this . . . . .A nice warm campfire with a bunch of Idiots drinkin making smores and burnin weenies If you really want to get together and spend some time with fellow idiots in an environment that just screams fun then this is where its at! Y'all are planning on spending a big wad of cash going to those other places . .well how bout throwing that cash in a travel fund for Idiots that cant afford to go anywhere and helping them get here to the First XICampfest. More Idiots = more fun and you will feel like a champ for helping others who cant afford to go otherwise. Yeah I know . . . . blah blah blah . . .cant this . . .I don't know that . . . . If your asking me (Leads <>Leadfinger) "How do we prevent this if possible" (see below) I have heard about a similar study with rats in a cage and after growing up in Southern California I can totally see how relevant that theory is. Too many rats in that cage and it can be seen in a milder form on the freeways with road rage and just overall nastiness. "Despite all my rage I'm still just a rat in a cage" (Smashing Pumpkins) This is true The age we live in has communication capabilities like never before in the history of man and when you put those capabilities in the hands of morons with a complete disregard of the well being of America, Canada or any nation.then add in some Agenda you better stand back . . cuz she's gonna blow!!! This is a major contributing factor . . .I'm even willing to go as far as saying 51% of these killings could have never happened if the parenting skills of humans improved greatly. I know some things good parenting cant fix like mental illness or chemical imbalance but if parents did a better job of teaching kids about interacting with others with these types of issues perhaps +% more could be avoided "MMMMMMmmmmmm . . . .JuicyFruit" ("chief" from the movie One Who Flew Over The Cuckoos Nest ) Thought provoking stuff here . . but then again we expect nothing less from LOM @PimpedOutPete Mr Pete in all seriousness . . . as you know this is a complex problem of society . . . . a problem with so many facets there could never be a single clear recognizable answer so we'll just have to keep trying as individuals and encouraging others to treat each other with respect and decency and work harder at teaching our children to be better Adults.
