What sucked is when you set up the controls for the tank it fucks up your flying controls . .at least it did for me and the instruction video was all glitchie as the tank would disappear and reappear at random and like sono said it looks like just a pound fest If I want a "pound fest" I will liquor-up some chick and pound her for a couple hours . . . .har! I think the navy should bring more excitement . . it better

Thanks for the information Deerejon. So you were crappie fishing and the big pig hammered your blue fox spinner . . whoops! nice suprise. Have you ever went and just targeted Bass in that lake? maybe some top water? there is probably smallmouth and largemouth in there right?' Take some plastic worms or small swim baits down there and whack em!

A great Story (true)
Leadfinger replied to Leadfinger's topic in Hunting, Shooting, Fishing, Boating
Never hesitate to keep a trophy sized fish (if you plan to have it mounted). Every fisherman has a vision of what a trophy fish is and when that day comes that you land that fish of your dreams freeze it and get it to the taxidermist ASAP. On the other hand releasing a fish that has already reached trophy size creates the potential to provide another fisherman a catch of a lifetime. It's spring time and the weather is nice . . it's time to pack up the wife, kids and dog and head out to your favorite fishing hole and get revenge on winter -
The following story is true. Because the newspaper article is old it's kinda hard to read, I apologize . . put your glasses on and take your time . . lol I don't have any experience putting together a post like this so if I don't make sense . . .KMA . . .J/k Catch and Release: The Idea that a fish can be caught and if properly handled could be released back into the water to be caught again. As the human population grows so does the number of Recreational Fisherman and the pressure on fish populations in our lakes and rivers. Whereas I am not opposed to the harvesting of fish legally for the table, unless the practice of catch and release is utilized by more fisherman the dream of catching a "wall mount" will forever stay a dream. This story was almost never told .. completely .. . Yes the magazine article was published but doesn't tell the whole story. Reading in the Rest Room A friend of mine went to the men's room of the construction company he owns in Ontario Calif. While sitting on the "crapper" he picked up a Western Outdoor News that was left behind by a previous "sitter". While reading thru the different articles he is surprised to see my name appear in a column by Mike Jones titled "Just Bassin". When he called me to tell me about the column I was equally surprised since I never spoke to anyone from Western Outdoor News. I phoned the author Mike Jones and asked him about the article, He told me he had tried to contact me but had no luck and was glad I called. He explained to me how he came up with the story and how he put the story together. Meeting of The Mikes Mike told me he attended a seminar in New York where Fish and Game biologists from all over the US were in attendance discussing various topics about the state of our fishing resources in this country and as a writer for a fishing magazine he was assigned to write a story about this meeting. When Mike arrived at the meeting he recognized the familiar face of Mike Giusti a California Fish and game Biologist. Having met before at similar functions in California the two Mikes shared a table at the New York meeting. During conversation about how catch and release is helping to preserve the fisheries in California, Biologist Mike Giusti shared the story that Mike Jones writes about in this Western Outdoors Magazine article. More facts about the fish and the guy that caught it the second time. When I spoke with Mike Jones I asked him the name and phone number of the guy that caught the fish and I gave him a call. Doug Morgan answered the phone and didn't have a clue who I was, After I explained to him I was the guy that caught the fish the first time. He was completely amazed at how this whole story could even happen, After discussing the details of where the fish was caught at Lake Perris in Riverside, California it was discovered that he hooked the fish within 50 yds of where I had hooked and released it in November 1988 but what is a real "trip" is that he caught the monster bass on a plastic 5" curly tailed grub Exactly what I caught the same fish on 7 years earlier. The pictures here are of Doug Morgan holding the Monster Bass. More about Mike Giusti California Fish and game Fisheries Biologist Because of his extensive work as Fisheries Biologist Mike Giusti was given the opportunity to plan and develop a trophy fishing lake in California ,Diamond Valley Lake. In 2008 I volunteered to help in a study of fish growth rates in Diamond Valley Lake. I was assigned to an electro-shocking boat with Mike Giusti. Since the study was taking place throughout the night shocking and measuring fish I was able to get further details about this story. When Doug Morgan sent the tag to California Fish and game the person who looked up the details surrounding the tagging of this fish was shocked when they had to dig thru files to find such an old tag document. Few people record and send the details of these tags which would help in the study of our state fisheries. My final Thoughts Beside the fact that I had a part in this story I am completely amazed by the chain of events from beginning to end. The chances of my buddy picking up that newspaper that morning and finding my name in the article, the chances of Mike Jones and Mike Giusti sitting together at that meeting in New York, the chances of that fish staying around the same area to be caught again7 years later, the chances of the fish being caught on the same lure! I can still remember that chilly November morning when I caught that Bass and noticed the tag wired in its mouth. I knew the tag was there for a reason and scrambled around in my boat to find a pencil and paper. I completely forgot about the paper I wrote the specifics of the fish on and found it in some jeans I was about to throw in the washing machine.(almost ruined the key to this story) I sent the facts to Fish and game in a hand written letter since the California Fish and game didn't have a email address for this type of thing. Its funny how doing something that you believe in can by chance change so many things and create a memory and a story like this . . . . I had no idea that something like this could happen . . I just went fishin Bruce Earwood AKA Leadfinger

Some sweet iron Mr Shamu. As I recall you have an extensive collection of firearms, do you get a chance to shoot them very often? Since I moved to Montana It's been easier to go to the shooting range since it's free and about 1/8 mile away. I really enjoy shooting different firearms but unless you reload is can be expensive

War Thunder Question
Leadfinger replied to Sonovabich's topic in War Thunder's War Thunder Discussion
I'm a little late getting to this party . . . . .Yeah SOB I only play with level l & II (my Russian planes are level III) as well, I kinda like flying the biplanes just wish they had 20mm cannons. Since they changed the bombing parameters a few updates back it's not fun anymore raining hell from the sky. Much to my amazement I have become a bit of a terror at times dog fighting but someone's still gotta bomb the tanks to win. I don't know whats up with the flaps thing but like StormCrow said "Just ignore em and keep flying". The game isn't as fun anymore but I find myself playing pretty often . . .hmmmm Maybe I need to get back to freezetag . .. . . last couple times I played FT I suked . . . . but then again I was never really any good anyway .. lol -
The freaking maintenance crew could learn a thing or 2 from the job you did there Baldie. I don't mind laying tile as long as I don't have to buy her dinner . . .lol J/K That's the way I shop for tile, if you can find a good looking tile at a store that sells close outs or overstock that's the way to buy it Its a good feeling to complete a job like that and sit back and say "oh hell yes I nailed it" WTG!

Welcome to Leadfingers "Gun of the week" Each week I will post one of my guns and any description or story that is associated with it. I only have 12 guns so it wont drag on forever .. .lol There isn't really any super expensive guns and I'm not trying to come off as a gun nerd (not that any idiot in this clan is an gun nerd) I just thought anyone that would click on this thread in the hunting and shooting forum would like to see what fellow idiots are "packing" OK first off we have a 1858 Bison .44 caliber black powder revolver made in Italy with a 10" barrel This is a fun gun to shoot, doesn't kick too bad and is pretty accurate. The only drawback to shooting a black powder firearm is all the little steps you gotta do to shoot them and then you better clean the gun good because the powder that is used in these guns is very corrosive . With the pre measured powder pellets that you can buy sure beats measuring the powder for each round. This gun wouldn't be a good conceal carry due to it's lengthy barrel and nasty mess making exit wound on the victum. So there you have it . . . . week 1 of Leadfingers "Gun of the Week" hope you enjoyed it and remember : Gun control means using 2 hands. Be safe out there you freaking Idiots!!

PICS!! Since it is a scientific discussion I think pics should be allowed . . . . .after all how can we form an opinion if we cant see before and after pics -
WhiteBoy, Your focus is on your mother and what you can do to help her get through this tragedy .. that's all you need to worry about and like Blackbart said your tags are safe. I wouldn't be a member of a clan that did it's members that way and I would wager that 99.99% of the idiots that are members feel the same way. You are a good man for being at your mothers side . . .. .good luck. You are still an Idiot

the revolution has begun..what bundy ranch means to all

I get so pissed these days when I hear a story from the "Asshole Media" that has been edited to conform to their agenda and creating diversions to keep regular folks scratching their heads trying to figure out the truth. In my opinion the conduct of the mainstream media borders on treason Here is the definition of Treason U.S. Code › Title 18 › Part I › Chapter 115 › § 2381 18 U.S. Code § 2381 - TreasonWhoever, owing allegiance to the United States, levies war against them or adheres to their enemies, giving them aid and comfort within the United States or elsewhere, is guilty of treason and shall suffer death, or shall be imprisoned not less than five years and fined under this title but not less than $10,000; and shall be incapable of holding any office under the United States. By manipulating what is published the major news media aids in the destruction of our nation. Some view the Obama administrations disrespectful kaos, economic "train wreck" and failed policies over the last 6 years as a direct threat to our nations survival (establishing him as an enemy of our country) The countless violations of the constitution, the abuse of his powers as president, Coverups and scandals everything from "fast and furious" to Benghazi , The incredible "apology tour" Obama made in the first months of his first term and more that the news media refuses to accurately report on. (The apology tour was when Obama toured all over the world apologizing to countries that we have had to "discipline" over the years for various human rights violations or acts of terror against the US . . . . screw that if we don't snap these countries back in line who will?) In a nutshell . . . . .Obama is taking this country down and the news media is helping him. (Yeah . . .I kinda "went off" here and these statements are somewhat "out there" but the idea is to provoke thought and hope that more people will scrutinize the medias actions as damaging our nation) -
Well that would be an 801 mile drive for me and I have a limit of 800 miles . . . .lol I will hoist a cold one on that night in honor of your meeting . . . . . .

Surf Fishing in Southern California
Leadfinger replied to USAFVetCruz's topic in Hunting, Shooting, Fishing, Boating
OMG! I have ripped a few (3) waves here (much smaller) and this is totally insane! The wave breaks right on the sand! I have seen a few guys get taken away on a back board. I can't imagine why anyone would risk a broken neck when you can go to a regular beach and safely "get all tubular . . . Dude"! -
See now . . . ..doesn't is make you feel better just talking about it . . . . . .lmao Glad you found a possible solution to your problem. Since you got so many idiots to reply to this post pics will be needed of the finished product.

Grab you some shrimp or better yet a 1/2 scoop of live anchovies from Dana Point and fish off the jetty at Dana Point. I used to go out on 1/2 day 3/4 day and all day boats out of Dana and did good. Sometimes I would fish the bays in my float tube and caught a bunch of spotted bay bass. If you can swing this you wont be disapointed Bay Bass fight hard and taste good just throw light jigs (chartruse plastic) around the expensive boats in the bays on an incoming tide and hold on! Be aware that you could hook a monster Halibut and get towed around . . . Har! -
Things like this can eat guy up . . . . .you want to build it right and last but you want / need to make a change to your original idea and you need to know if your changes will be structurally correct . . . . . . . I been through this many times as a contractor. Here is what I would do, Find a document that covers your problem . . . . take a look at this http://www.awc.org/publications/DCA/DCA6/DCA6-09.pdf Can you post a drawing of your project? As others have stated 20' is a long span for a beam. we need more info to be as accurate as we can. see attached drawing PARTY at Kingstinger's place on his new deck!
