Old man, you misread it. Vets don't sell the poppies, most stores have a donation box by the cash registers that people put coins in and take a plastic poppy pin to put on their lapel. But target BS'd the ritual into saying they couldn't have someone man/she-man the boxes. In most stores the box sits at the costomer service desk and usually no-one mans it. Coin box on one end of the tray and poppy pins at the other, free to help yourself after a donation. I don't bash American outlets, as I said there were two dollar stores involved too. They STILL can all lick my soles after I go for a long walk in the Doggy Park. Done.

Recently our local Target store and a couple of bargain stores refused to handle "Poppy boxes". The boxes are donation boxes for a poppy pin for your lapel to show your respect for veterans. I will never go into any Target store again or any other store that supports such behavior. Done.

I have a Merc Stealth from Steelseries.(next generation ZBoard) It has 3 different background colors (red, blue and purple) and 3 different brightness settings, also its USB, with a mike and earphone outlet and 2 USB outlets. It is easily programmable and has a normal keypad with a directional pad on the left side. It has default settings for a lot of games and will detect what your playing automatically. I like it a lot. Price is about $ 79.95 CDN at Future Shop. Its worth having a look at. 3 yrs. old and never any stuck keys. Also, as with any board sometimes the key layout is not suitable for your style, such as mine was, so I popped out the windows key that I kept hitting accidentally, and found out you can take them out and put them in with no problems. This is my second Zboard as I wore the face off the older style one and have never had any problems with either.

You cannot turn back time, it is actually because younger people are so good with technology that armed forces excel with modern weapons in the field. Without the experience with smartphones, GPS, video controllers, audio equipment, touchscreens and texting, our new recruits would be to a great disadvantage. Using devices while dangerous situations happen and not noticing is probably more due to the fact that people use these devices sometimes to escape tense situations. To some, the bus,train, airport, street, school and even shopping requires reassurance by being connected to someone or something as a distraction. The future of new technology requires gains and failures to extract the best. The automotive industry is a good example.

It's hard to say what one does for real when the shit hits the fan, but in hind sight, the biker who slowed down in front of him causing the initial collision, did so intentionally. Had the car driver stopped at that time it would have been his word against all the bikers, but having to leave the scene automatically makes it a felony, unless he felt he/his family were in immediate danger which could be argued in court. Strangely, the You Tube video supports the car drivers case. Good God, I've sunk to the lowly status of sounding like a lawyer. Help me!
