Thats why they are beta drivers 1st........
I went ahead and installed them this morning. But just so you know why I usually wait. I had a set of non beta drivers, and had an issue with them, that the only reliable solution was to add a second monitor to stop the clock speed from changing, the second monitor held it at full speed. I had the wonderful problem of the pink screen for weeks before I stumbled across that solution. I had tried newest at the time, and even went back a couple sets trying. Luckily the second monitor trick worked, it just made it run hotter, but I installed afterburner, and solved that issue with it by forcing the fan to run faster.
edit to add this : this was all on my brand new system this year, the GTX 560ti, which is actually listed as one of the bug fixes on this new driver release, so thanks.
Glad to help, but i have the 560 TI (classified) card also and have had no problems what so ever.....
you got lucky then. With just a single monitor hooked up, it would let the clock cycle drop speed when just browsing the net and watching videos, and would only kick up when gaming. But many times when I would go to watch a video on youtube, it would crash the video driver= pink screen with lines, audio would still be going, but screen was crazy, looked like an old cartridge video game when they got dusty, you know what I'm talking about, lol.
would have to do a hard reset. tried for days to fix it, but the only reliable thing was adding the second monitor. all it did was force the clock to stay full speed all the time.
