Before the question pops up. More bandwith isn't going to improve your cod ping. It takes a very small stream to play most fps games. There are alot of factors that go into it but once you have the bandwidth you need for the game anything above that really doesn't matter unless you have someone beating up the connection your on doing other things.

I should be able to make it. I will get tired from capping all the flags though...

My day just got a hell of alot better!

We were driving into Gatlinburg TN last night and had to stop twice playing dodge the potential twisters. We then stopped short of our destination last night and stayed about an hour out to avoid some areas on the way. Finally made it in this morning.

Duke was a great game. Way ahead of its time in many parts of the game. I will surely buy it. It should be fun. I played about all of them as they came out. Doom, Heretic, Rott, Hexen, Duke Nukem3d, Quake(all of them). The list goes on and on. I'm also always up for a game of quake live if anyone plays. Pm me.

I will agree Dean its annoying. Usually the players doing this are pretty sad and usually aren't your strong players. They are usually doing this because its their only legit shot to shoot somone. Sure they can get a decent kill/death ratio now and then. Unless your on a server that is really packed with alot of players they aren't much of a threat on the leader board.

I have it installed with no issues. I'm going to go out on a limb and say your game troubles have nothing to do with IE. They don't have anything to do with each other. Your install of IE and your game issues may just be a coincidence.

LOAD"*",8 Playing Summer games and some of the first few Ultimas on it was a blast. Then when my cousin would come over to play Ultima and we would hook our floppys together so you wouldn't have to change them as much we were rocking!

I'm sure there will be another one down the line with the correct server settings. I suggest throwing a advertisement console message on the dm server a couple of weeks out to get a better turnout. I was amazed at the amount of people who don't pay attention to the XI web page who seemed to be clueless about it when I mentioned it.

GG Pete. Phuckit figured out the issue with the server. I confirmed it with the round before that score. There was a frag limit of 50 on the server is why it ended early. We will call it the tainted Crown. Lol. There was a 4 frag difference at that point between you myself and Phuckit with about 4 minutes to go. So not 5 minutes but 4 minutes and 30 seconds or so. I wondered about it the round before because I was up 4 or 5 on you and it suddenly ended when I knew we had more time. I noticed Bart and another player were very close to making the top 5 to move on that were cut short on time as well. So hard telling what would have happened in either game. Gorilla did the best he could with a short amount of time though. Props to him.

PimpedOutPete Well put Hoth.. Even the best players don't mind getting their asses kicked once in awhile... Nothing like a little variety in ones life. The ones I've dropped haven't been by much so my ass doesn't hurt much. The person who has taken me by the most frags semi recently in ffa was Spivs kid. Quick as hell on the draw and really accurate. I played him 1v1 one night and he took 2 of 3 games from me. All were pretty tight(3-5 frags) The kid has skills. Person from the past that used to frustrate me was Bashem. I had a habit of barely losing to him and rarely beating him in a ffa. His movement wasn't anything incredible but his aim was brutal and he was a very smart player.

Bigmeandean - Arrogance! First of all peeps this is just me venting and I will not mention any names! If anybody cares to respond to this post then please respect my request and respond in kind! Let me ask each of you, have you ever heard certain players that come in late into a game and then when they don't win say, "I just needed a few more minutes"? To me that statement is degrading to the individuals that win with the assumption that they would indeed run the leaders down and win. That is arrogance example #1. Example number #2 is when somebody talks like only they have the right to win each and every map! Now remember this, there is a difference between arrogance and self confedence, for example when I say when someone shoots me from a certain position, "I am going to cut you if you stay there", that is confedence. I dont think I am untouchable but there are many that seem to do that very kind of thinking. Like I said thjis is just me venting and I wish everybody could just play for the fun of it. Winning isn't everything in life. I can think of many things that out rank winning by a country mile. Family, friends and such, are so much more important than winning a damned video game. I happened to say something pretty similar to this today. So if this post is or is not in reference to me I'm not sure. Here is a few thoughts. One thing that annoys me about the cod series. It has never had time played showing on the scoreboard. I have played games that are 15 years old that have this. On another note I don't say this to whine or thinking I should win every level. Am I competive sure. I still enjoy the game and the people I play with but I don't play to lose. Will I lose any sleep at night if I lose no. Am I giving the person crap who won? Sure some if I wasn't in the whole game. Am I putting them down no. It was Pete who I have played with for years. Who I also like and respect. The same guy I asked to be on my cod2 ctf team tourneys ago. Why? Because one thing I am cocky about is I can recognize talent and what they are good at. So I think you need to loosen your panties up. What I said after I typed the comment was gg which = good game. The same thing I say if I lose or I win by 40 or 50.
