Toothpick I shoot you and many other up on a wireless connection daily. A copper connection does make an asshair of difference which can give you slight edge in the fps games we all play. I usually only run a wired connection if I am competing in something. For daily pickup games not a big deal.

Small lan matches in the room wouldn't be bad. We could do some 1 on 1s with betting on the over under. Who can cover the spread etc.lol. (hint for Bob lan stands for local area network internet not needed lol) I can't post without giving the 80 year old gameshow host a hard time..

Before the question pops up. More bandwith isn't going to improve your cod ping. It takes a very small stream to play most fps games. There are alot of factors that go into it but once you have the bandwidth you need for the game anything above that really doesn't matter unless you have someone beating up the connection your on doing other things.

We were driving into Gatlinburg TN last night and had to stop twice playing dodge the potential twisters. We then stopped short of our destination last night and stayed about an hour out to avoid some areas on the way. Finally made it in this morning. -
Duke was a great game. Way ahead of its time in many parts of the game. I will surely buy it. It should be fun. I played about all of them as they came out. Doom, Heretic, Rott, Hexen, Duke Nukem3d, Quake(all of them). The list goes on and on. I'm also always up for a game of quake live if anyone plays. Pm me.

I will agree Dean its annoying. Usually the players doing this are pretty sad and usually aren't your strong players. They are usually doing this because its their only legit shot to shoot somone. Sure they can get a decent kill/death ratio now and then. Unless your on a server that is really packed with alot of players they aren't much of a threat on the leader board.

I have it installed with no issues. I'm going to go out on a limb and say your game troubles have nothing to do with IE. They don't have anything to do with each other. Your install of IE and your game issues may just be a coincidence.
