ph4nt0m Revolution is the way forward for us Brits, on average, we pay 80% of what we earn back to the government in one way or another with various different taxes and shit, the only way forward for us is revolution, Easy fix. Get rid of the Royals, eliminate their upkeep and spread their wealth around to the people. I am not sure what constructive thing they do for England anyway.

Black Ops is a great example of what publicity can do for sales. It had great hype by the distributors and we, the gamers, contributed to the hype. That led to a feeding frenzy. We all thought we would be getting steak, lobster and beverage of choice. Turns out it was a Mac Donald burger in a fancy box. Hmmm....maybe not even as good as a Burger.

Not much has been said here about the ongoing crisis in Japan, not sure if that because it is so far removed from us or because there remains a lingering dislike of Japan here in the States. Keep in mind biased attitudes could be because of WW II or the economic dominance of Japan in recent years. I suspect any animosity I have is because of the impact they have had on the American automobile industry. I also recognize we in the States initially shot our own selves in the foot with poor quality cars which has since improved dramatically......... amazing what a little competition can do. Anyway, off of my rant. Recent events at the nuclear plants has caught my attention and admiration of the Japanese people. Their Nuclear plants are in crisis yet workers knowingly risk their lives by going back to their plants to do their duty. These workers know they may very well die from their efforts. There is no looting, or none that I have heard of. Can New Orleans say the same..... I don't think so. Many Japanese have put Public Service ahead of personal needs in tasks as simple as directing traffic. Their police forces have not disappered as they did in N.O.. People stand in orderly lines to receive food and aid. No rioting. Even the politicians and business owners show a level of humility unheard of in our culture. Their lives have been devastated yet they manage a level of civility that almost no other culture could maintain. I'll be damned if I do not find myself admiring the Japanese people for their performance in a time of crisis. Kudos to them!

Good luck with the job, I hope all turns out well for you.

I am not a Craftsman fan except for hand tools. Keep in mind, Craftsman does not make their mowers, they apply their name to someone else work. IMHO.......Nothing runs like a Deere.

Pull it out to 67 inches and let me know my age in cunt hairs, just curious. Ever pull a tape measurer out to your age in inches? Mark the spot, and if 75 is the average life of an American male you can sort of see how much time you have left. I have 8 inches left of the 75 allocated to me.

Since it's almost St. Paddy's day an old one: Two women were sitting next to each other ata bar. After a while, one looks at the other andsays, 'I can't help but think, from listening to you, that you're from Ireland.' The other woman responds proudly, 'Yes, I sure am!' The first one says, 'Soam I! And where about in Ireland are ya from?' The other woman answers, 'I'mfrom Dublin , I am.' The first one responds, 'So, am I!! And what streetdid you live on in Dublin ?' The other woman says, 'A lovely little area. Itwas in the west end. I lived on Warbury Street in the old central part oftown.' The first one says, 'Faith, and it's a small world. So did I! Sodid I! And what school did ya go to?' The other woman answers, 'Well now, Iwent to Holy Heart of Mary, of course.' The first one gets really excited andsays, 'And so did I! Tell me, what year did you graduate?' The other womananswers, 'Well, now, let's see. I graduated in 1964.' The first woman exclaims,'The Good Lord must be smiling down upon us! I can hardly believe our good luckat winding up in the same pub tonight! Can you believe it? I graduated fromHoly Heart of Mary in 1964 me self!' About this time, Michael walks into the bar, sits down, and orders a beer. Brian, the bartender, walks over to Michaelshaking his head and mutters, 'It's going to be a long nighttonight.' Michael asks, 'Why do you say that, Brian?' Brian answers, 'The Murphy twins are drunkagain.'

Call me a pessimist but I always feel that a significant earthquake like the one in Japan tends to disturb mother nature breeding another quake somewhere else shortly after. Japan moved 8 ft. during the quake. I just feel if they shifted the earth 8 feet there it may have disturbed the earth somewhere else and that spot, wherever it is, may then shift itself to get more comfortable resulting in more quakes. Here is the list of the top 15 since 1900: • Chile , 1960 05 22, 9.5 magnitude • Prince William Sound, Alaska, 1964 9.2 magnitude • Northern Sumatra, 2004 9.1 magnitude • Kamchatka, 1952 9.0 magnitude • Japan, 2011: 8.9 magnitude • Chile, 2010 8.8 magnitude • Ecuador, 1906 8.8 magnitude • Alaska, 1965 8.7 magnitude • Northern Sumatra, 2005 8.6 magnitude • Assam and Tibet, 1950 8.6 magnitude • Andreanof Islands, Alaska, 1957 8.6 magnitude • Southern Sumatra, 2007 8.5 magnitude • Banda Sea, Indonesia, 1938 8.5 magnitude • Kamchatka, 1923 8.5 magnitude • Chile and Argentina, 1922 8.5

UnChileno Yeah...some use a white dot on their screen..if you are not there..how do you know?.....lmao Ahhh, but the difference is I tell you I use a white dot. BTW..... I have noted a few others have adopted the practice
-
Can I have an AMEN!
-
Just a curious guests observation. Wouldn't suspicious behavior be best kept in the Private section of XI? Posting in Public may only alert him to be more careful. A good hacker can be very hard to catch if he knows he is being watched.

LOL......... leave it the media if you want unnecessary drama.

A Harley biker isriding by the zoo in Washington , DC when he sees a little girl leaning intothe lion's cage. Suddenly, the lion grabs her by thecuff of her jacket and tries to pull her inside to slaughter her, under theeyes of her screaming parents. The biker jumps off his Harley, runs to the cage and hits the lion square onthe nose with a powerful punch. Whimpering from the pain the lion jumps back letting go of the girl, and thebiker brings her to herterrified parents, who thank him endlessly. A reporter has watched the whole event. The reporter addressing the Harley rider says, 'Sir, this was the most gallantand brave thing I've seen a man do in my whole life.' The Harley rider replies, 'Why, it was nothing, really, the lion was behindbars. I just saw this little kid in danger and acted as I felt right.' The reporter says, 'Well, I'll make sure this won't go unnoticed. I'm ajournalist, and tomorrow's paper will have this story on the front page....... So,what do you do for a living and what political affiliation do you have?' The biker replies, 'I'm a U.S. Marine and a Republican.' The journalist leaves. The following morning the biker buys the paper to see news of his actions, andreads, on the front page: U.S. MARINE ASSAULTS AFRICAN IMMIGRANT AND STEALS HIS LUNCH

Being from Philly I hear a lot about Cosby, in fact we graduated from the same high school. I admire his willingness to hold all people accountable for their own achievements in life and not relying on the courts or government to do it for them.

I found the ATT link interesting because it lends official support to the practice as opposed to internet rumors.

Seems to be a few of us around here with an appreciation for guns. Quite a few posts on the guns if you browse around. Nice pic. I have 6 M-1 Garand's, a new reissue by Springfield, a refinish Winchester from Miltech ( http://www.miltecharms.com/rifles.htm ), and 4 from different manufacturers from the WW II and Korean war era.

Olive - It happened again.... It happened again today and now i'm a little bit scared . Nearly every time i do a laundry i lose a sock !!!! Shit how is it possible ? Am i living in a black hole or what ?? I never lose a pair of sokcs...always one of the pair . Now i got nearly 15 "Lone socks" in my closet ! How is it possible ? Am i the only one living this "Socks Nightmare or what ? Tell me i'm not alone !! I want my missing socks back I am a firm believer that washing machines eat socks. I too have often wondered where the mates have gone. It's like a bad marriage where one or the other runs off never to be seen again. And I thought I was the only one with this issue. Solution: buy all identical socks. So instead of 15 loners you will have 7 1/2 pair.
