Hello XI fam,
My mother in law passed away yesterday. We learned of the news around 6:00pm pacific time. I was close to her too and this is a difficult time for our family. The kids are grieving, having lost their grandma. We take some comfort in knowing that she passed way peacefully while in prayer.
I'll be away for a bit, but not sure how long.

We played it once and everything seemed to be good except in some spots when you tried to use a killstreak it said you need to be on the ground to use it. I couldn't figure out a where it was and wasn't happening but @crimson had it happen to him. I'm not sure a chopper was used but airstrikes seemed to work, but its a small area to kill people with it.
It was a mix reaction so far, pretty small map, I loved it, its right up my alley. If you're on next time go ahead and load it up and play it, its on the server now you just need to manually bring it up since its not in the rotation.

Hey fuckers. Sorry I haven't been on in a bit. Wife switched to a graveyard shift last year and since then the servers are empty by the time she wakes up (~6pm pst). Don't worry, I'll go get a laptop here soon so I can play somewhere else while she's sleeping.
Until then enjoy your fake high scores while I'm not there. I'm turning 50 years old this year and only have so much longer to whoop your asses while I can still see good enough. I can't believe I have to wear reading glasses to see the damn screen. That is how long I've been playing this dumb game. From being the best almost 20 years ago (FU if you don't think so), to being an old grandpa now that gets pissed off when I'm not on top and can barely see the screen sometimes.
Anyway miss all you idiots and I'll see you again soon.

There are plenty of Adobe alternatives that force you to use AI.
The AI bubble isnt going to burst for a long while yet. Most costs are based on building up infrastructure, and outside of that, the big players are bringing in enough to sustain. As far as the Forbes article, its not saying that it fails at 90-95% of tasks... and most of the pain points in the MIT article it was based off are no longer as big an issue (learning from feedback and remembering context).
The component prices suck though.
