Sounds to me like: 1: dust in your PC (here in Germany we call it "Wollmäuse" --- "wool mice" Some Towers / fans have dust filters, check them too 2; One ore more fans is/are not working properly 3: your fans are not able to transport the heat outside your tower. Check this. If you have checked 1 & 2 and you can confirm that everything seems to be OK, I would suggest that you post some pictures of your tower: Front, back, top and sides. The best pictures are from inside, so that we all can see all your fans. You can also open your tower, start to play and observe the temperatures. But be careful: this changes the airflow within your tower and can(!) make the situation worse. But mostly it helps to get rid of the hot air in the tower But this shouldn't be a permanent solution!

As far as i underdtand your post it was a member who connected and disconnected? Maybe he/she had connection issues or other problems with his PC? I can not imagine that a member willfully causes trouble like that. And AFAIK only members can redirect non-members when they connect and can't get redirected by other players unless the redirect is forced by an admin (if this is possible) I know it can be very annoying to get redirected. I wasn't in there but saying "a noob is running afoul of the rules" is not ok IMO. I am sure if this happened intentionally our admins will do their job About your suggestion: Sounds good, but try to explain this to a new player who has only a few points or a lower level. They wouldn't get the chance to increase their level. And as a logical consequence they wouldn't play here anymore and the server could lose traffic. We all had this redirect "problem" if we were non-members. I play this mod only on weekends and take a buddy with me. He gets redirected at least 2 or 3 times ( sometimes more) every evening. I don't use the crossbow, but I think 2 explosives are enough. Combined with 3x Semtex you can blow up the map *lol*

It's not only the download speed it's also the latency. This is weird. Sometimes i play with 150ms for a few minutes then it goes up to 200ms again. @@Sammy Look at my screenshot. The file location is the redirect. That's the weird thing. It's not always like that. But every few maps. My second problem is the latency. I don't think, that this is caused by a bad installation. Everythin is as usual on the other servers.

When you click once on the sound icon in the sys-tray you can open the mixer. You can control the volume of many programs seperately: (on windows XP a double click opens the mixer)

Missing it

Am i the only one? I recognized that my ping on the ACE Mod server is unusual. Normally i have pings between 145-150ms. Since a couple of days my pings are constantly at 200ms, sometimes up to 500ms and CIs Today i tried to connect to the server and had to download the map with 40Kb/s max: Tried the downloader, 210KB max: Huge amount of spikes in HLSW: I have no prolems to play on other servers like FT MW2 Beta. Everything is as usual. ~ 130-140ms, no CIs and so on. No other connection issues:

Blud, we all can help our admins to get rid of such fookers. The best way to help keep the servers clean is that you (or any other player) take an ingame vid. The best way is to record it as a demo (open your console, type /record Hackers_Name for example). You can record a full map with a filesize of a few MB (and 100% quality). Send this file to an admin or upload it elsewhere and provide a link, the name of the mod and the map you played here in our forums.
