I spend a lot of time up there....I fish lake george a couple of times each summer, I trout fish the delaware up near hankins and hancock, and my friend has the contract for backstage catering at Bethel (Woodstock) every year so I fish swinging bridge a lot there to.... I know I am an idiot, but dont know how the console can be misused....I am going to have to google waw console commands.... I just know how to change framerates and auto defrost and record.... Thanks guys for turning it on....!!!!

I only did that to address individual points I had questions on....so far none have been directly answered...anyhow.... Beers answer was "mis use" ok I get it....but what misuse? surley not ~record or framerate changes or turning on or off auto defrost....maybe calling a map vote? I dont know but the answer surely didn't "say it all" theres more and I am missing it...the console last i checked was available on the other mod and all other servers...could not the misuser go there and misuse it there too?...perhaps as a playing member, not managment, I dont need to know...but no one has said that either so until otherwise....they are just questions I am asking...

Bunny hopping has become a real problem in VFT server. UIt is very hard to kill someone while they are jumping continously, so we decided to try to stop it. --------------------------------------------------------- I hadnt noticed it as a real problem...i have seen a few people that \use this method but never noticed an epidemic... The one draw back I never thought about (others may have )is exactly what deerejon said about defrosting in windows... we have to jump up and down to get the defrost ... so there is a draw back to it. But we wanted to try it for a while and see what effects it will have on the server. --------------------------------------------------- I frequently find myself thawing from inside and so need to jump with the gun up for perfect alignment on my teammate...this change limits my style of play...from safley defrosting to haing to expose myself to get them.... Your input is actually very welcome. But take it for what it is. ---------------------------------------------------------- Thanks..I think....I dont get the take it for what it is thing.... We try to adapt the servers so those who play them the most can get maximum enjoyment. -------------------------- SO a majority of regulars requested this?? Question...why was the change to being able to bring up the gun while jumping made..??? I do not bunny hop but many times am on the run and jump over a truck, run face to face with a pop in spawned enemy, jump in windows aiming to defrost and many other instances where jumping with the gun up or shooting on the run are necassary..... And I thought we do not limit styles of play....bunnies blow but so?? Camping is still allowed...can someone explain the difference to me? I mean other than we like this and dislike that or vice versa....is there a real reason? And I have asked beofer but never really got an answer....why cant we have console? Every other server has it...are we the bad kids? what if I susupect a hacker...I try to hit ~record but nothing happens....lol...oh no console..... I dont normally complain about much but if someone calls a map vote and it passes who really cares? other than the minority right? thats voting....d
