  1. Hi Pissy! Glad to hear the TKR is coming along and you're getting off the meds. Hard to get a nicely spec'ed system these days due to the super high price of memory and GPUs, so the DDR4 aspect of your system isn't a surprise. I'm hearing many builders are installing DDR4 as an interim move while awaiting sanity to return to pricing. I think I ran COD5 on a 660 long ago, and it was totally capable of running with max visuals, so even if you wait on the GPU, you'd probably be just fine. As for the clan tags sticking, I'll make the recommendation I always make - run the game as an Administrator. It may be trying to save the tag information, but Windows is denying the write (save) operation for some reason, and that can be overcome by running the game as Administrator. It means you'll get a UAC prompt confirming you are okay allowing the game to run that way, but it seems to overcome some of the odd behaviors I've seen. All that said, I've also heard from some others saying they do that, but it still loses the clan tag anyway. I'm just really not clear if they really are running the game as an admin or not. I've never had an issue with clan tags and I've always ran the game as an Administrator. In Windows Explorer... [I'm doing this in Win 11, but this is pretty much the same in all versions of Windows.] Hope that helps. Kill 'ya later.
  2. Congratulations.
  3. Thank you. Merry Christmas!
  4. Hi everyone. djMot here posting on behalf of DunksFrag who isn't feeling great but wanted to get these pics out to all his >XI< friends. As those of you who know him already know, Dunks has a particularly aggressive and seemingly incurable form of cancer. He often needs "infusions" - of just what, I'm not sure, but it sure seems like a soul-sucking event every time he has to go through another round of the stuff. Infusions are only part of the regimen he must endure. So if you have a moment to send a prayer his way, he could surely use them. The first pic is from a couple of days ago while receiving his latest infusion. Always making the best of a situation and joking around. Like one of his favorite jokes he loves to tell about the time his doctors told him, "Frank, we don't want you lifting anything over 5 pounds." Frank: "But doctor, how will I pee?!?" The second pic is the massive 9.5 foot spider he recently bought through Home Depot. He wanted to get it up on the roof but couldn't figure out how to get it up there in his condition. HAPPY HALLOWEEN from [>XI<]DunksFrag!!!
  5. Happy Birthday!
  6. Welcome aboard, Idiot.
  7. Damn. I probably can't unsee that.
  8. AKA, how to ruin a marriage in less than 30 days.
  9. Love the Frank-en-stein getup! I will forever picture you that way while we're gaming, lol.
  10. I am still logged in on Edge. It's the only way I can write this. I used it to do a password reset. I can log in to XI on Edge just fine. I DO NOT use Facebook to log in. But when I use the existing login page on the Brave Browser, and fill in my username and password, this is the screen I get which is returned from https://www.facebook.com/dialog/oauth?client_id=blah-blah-blah. In other words, regardless of my NOT electing to use the Facebook login, it apparently refuses to use any other method, which is broken, I guess. So, that would seem to be a problem with this website. Since others of you have said you can log in just fine on Brave, I would have to suspect there is something wrong with my account. So, @Sitting-Duc how the hell can I get around this colossal Facebook cluster-fuck so I can use the Brave Browser?
  11. Hi. Thought I'd give Brave Browser a trial run as my default browser. Tried to log into this site and it was a shit-show. I tried to use my regular login, but it forced me to a Facebook login. Whatever. Did it that way. I guess Facebook wanted me to authenticate on another device and there was a request on my phone. Approved it, but was not logged into this site. Tried again, because if at first you don't succeed... But that time I never got a push notification on my phone. Used the "Try another way" option and selected to get a code txted to my phone. That came, so I entered it. The code was accepted, but I was not logged in. Next attempt I was told by Facebook: App not active This app is not accessible right now and the app developer is aware of the issue. You will be able to log in when the app is reactivated. Anyone have a suggestion?
  12. Sure. But depends on the date and time, obviously.
  13. This was a difficult video to shoot for. It is a place where I lived, and it's mostly decayed into nothing salvageable. But back in its day, it was one of the coolest things in North Dakota. I loved it there, and it was a job that has given me great pride all these decades since.
  14. This video hit today, Friday, September 27, 2024.
