I have to go to task manager on an average of once every other map to end task because BO is not responding. I have updated every single driver I could possible update (Sound, video, motherboard), also I have completely removed the game and steam then reinstalled as some sites say this works. And I am still left with the same crap I have been dealing with since 11/9/10. Any recommendations would be greatly appreciated! Thank you!

I have found that xfire sometimes hangs up the loading map. I was getting the "BO not responding" problem every time I got in the game, and often when a new map was loading. As soon as I turned off xfire, those problems went away.

Thanks Mouse. there are several things that cause problems with BO xfire/teamspeak/sound drivers/directx pfff you name it, i never had a problem either until after the update and I've got a smoken computer except the sound card, its onboard reltek (POS) but I made sure everything was updated and done right and I still have problems myself! Oh yeah and STEAM causes its own little problems too........ Good Luck :/
