The communication and the team work needed to win is what really intrigues me and makes it a lot of fun. So, I thought i would share with you's one of my embarrassing phone calls. Leading up to the phone call, I live in Sacramento, CA. One of my clan buddy's (|STFU|) lives in Reno, NV which is a two hour drive for me. I had pre-paid for a track day (Motorcycles) at Reno Fernley Raceway, which is 30 mins past Reno. The night before I would leave, the weather called for snow in Reno, and I wanted to know what the conditions were. Through Steam, my teammate gave me his phone number in Reno, but I never knew his real name. Now I've been known as Easy Target since I first started gaming. My teammate went by Meatslinger. So I call the number, low & behold, I get the answering machine. (I should add that dude lives with his mom!) at a loss for words, here's the message I leave: "yeah, uhh, I'm looking for Meatslinger, you all call me Easy, ummm, call me! 916-xxx-xxxx" Needless to say, we laughed for days over this.
