The problem is this: Windows Explorer has stoppped working. Then you have the option of closing it or restarting it. I hit restart and everything is fine. But it does it everytime that I leave Black Ops. It gets frustrating. It says windows explorer, not internet explorer, kind of strange. And nothing will work at all until I restart it. I was afraid to close it. I don't what would happen.

I googled it and none of those answers worked. Or I didn't want to do shit that I wasn't familar with. Also it will make my mic stay on in TS3.

One other problem and this one should be easy. My steam icon in my profile doesn't work. Neither does Mikey's. I just get an error message.

If any one could help, it would be appreciated. I have crossloop if someone wants to do that.

Thank you everyone.

I could be wrong but I seen a post about editing it under the services to auto restart if it stops?

Are you using windows 7?

One other guess I would have is the .net framework but thats just a guess. Foot in mouth

A way to work around the microphone staying lit under TS3, could be to "change user" in your windows session, try it out, it might work... Maybe a problem with your integrated soundchip?  Never managed to completely use the sound in my old pc  (Realtech HD adio), this for the microphone problem...  Just an idea! Good luck B.A. !

You have to try a few different things to narow down the issue. Try playing with no mic pluged in. No team speak runing. Something like turn on one thing then turn it off and try the next think till you get the error. It will be the cause of your issue. Sherlock says this is so. Then rty using the generic sound driver for your sound.

Windows explorer not responding is usually fixed with a good ol Cclean of the registry and a restart. Most common on computers I work on it is a slight instability in your RAM/IMC. I can most likely help you in a timely fassion if you wish some time.

I know while I had my BO server and was searching the GS.com forums, I saw tons of complaints about TS3 & BO running together type problems.... but that wasn't one of mine at the time, so I never looked at them. And be careful about updating your directx if anyone tells you to do that (with windows7) because now I have directx fatal error problems while playing cod4 besides the POS realtec hd sound issues I have.... :(
