So, how many of you have had your kids terrorize your PC?

I had been in the hospital from Friday to Sunday because of a rapid heart rate....150.......had to get it shocked back to normal.

Anyway I come home and all my AOL e-mail folders are empty with the exception of of couple of new ones.  I had no  idea what happened.

Long story short one of my Grandsons while visiting with my wife decided to do me a favor a clean my e-mail folders for me. Apparently he saw his Mom do something similar. Anyway they are all emptied. All my business e-mail, all my e-mail on purchases and stuff..............All GONE!

Then the little culprit, 7 years old, visits yesterday evening after my return from the hospital and tells me he "helped me clean my computer". Aarrrrghhh!

I stayed calm and tried to explain it's best to just let the computer owner do those things. My daughter was shocked and said how he had been watching her clean junk form her e-mails at home. Apparently he though deleting anything was good. He learned well enough to check "Delete All" and hit Enter.

His intentions were good but the results do present a few problems for me especially with my business correspondence and some guns I bought with my C & R license.

Almost put me back in the hospital.

No more allowing the PC to remember passwords will help also.

I dont think you can recover deleted mail from AOL, once it's gone, it's gone,

It may be worth you looking at a hosted exchange server for business email though, would certainly stop this from happening again

Probably no different than when you drop a stinky fart in company and try to blame your wife.  Surprised

Good one Tball. I don't know how many times I have had dogs do that. You can be madder at a dog than you can a kid.

That is almost so terrible it is funny Shamu. I am sure you will figure it out.
