I have a problem and I can't figure it out. I have donme everything that I know how to do and it still does it. The sympton is "i get a sound like when you unplug a piece of hardware from your pc then it immediately I get the ssound where you plug somehting back into the pc. When this does this I am froze until it stops doing it. If I play long enough all I have is a speed of creeping along at a snails pace. That's not me, I love to run and gun! I think my modem is bad but I really dont know. I am wondering if one of you can direct me to the problem! whatever it is I am bone broke and wont be able to fix it anyway, unless someone has one they wouldn't mind donating. Thanks for your input!

Try to get to your task bar when that is happening and see if you can tell what device is doing it. Sounds like a device that has a short, possibly USB... so it looks to the computer like you are plugging and unplugging. Just a thought.

if you have a usb mouse or keyboard try swapping them out one at a time. My guess you have a mouse dying on you but could be keyboard too.

I would agree labob.  Or go to your control panel device manager and see what is  kicking out and on.

I had the same issue and it was a loose connection in my mouse. In the end I had to throw it away and buy a replacement

When it would disconnect then reconnect my motion would be really slow. I would have to go in the options and increase my mouse sensitivity. Then it would do the same thing and go back to the original setting meaning I now had a super sensitive mouse making gaming impossible

My 2 cents

Damn you and your avatar! I can't read a single one of your posts without being distracted at least five times. It doesn't matter if it was one word I have to watch it over and over! LOL My wife walks by wondering what I am doing and here are these boobies bouncing on my screen! LOL
